Great game, love the work you've done, but there is not enough metal, and there is too much wood proportionally. Because wood is produced at 4 times the rate of iron and they are used almost equally, I end up waiting for hours to get my iron, then waiting hours for the build, then repeat...
My one suggestion for improvement: Some means to exchange resources. I have maximum gold, but cant do anything with it coue everything costs 1000+ iron, and there isn't enough of that for me to maintain even three working armies.
If your defense is based on blockers, or often even if it isn't, don't polymorph enemies into sheep. If you turn a yeti into a sheep and it gets through, it still takes five lives, and your blockers ignore them.
Ok, I know you guys are sad that the apperntice over there is dead, but we really need someone on that tower. Pease throw him over the edge and start killing people. Thank you.
It is rediculous that I can lose a battle in 2 minutes, due to a flawed strategy, and earn next to no EXP, thus rendering it imposible to make any progress because even when I spend 10 minutes and kill over 200 enemies, I gain no EXP because I've already failed the level.
Why am I selling these sundaes (pizzas, burgers, tacos) wholesale? If I actually sold these for a profit, wouldn't it be so much easier to buy an upgrade?
Good concept, but too short, and the battle system is so badly broken that the game becomes nearly unplayable. If this helps anyone, my calculations show that soviet tacks attacking from ships are approx. twice as strong as German tanks defending with two shields.
People say that this was stolen/copied from Advance Wars, but in my opinion, the developer took the things he didn't like from advance wars, and changed them, while keeping the mechanics workable. He also added several new types of units, and a creative and entertaining storyline. The only problem is that it doesn't save.
