@Kastermum I agree with you... to an extent. Maybe they could be slightly easier, because the only practical way is to pay for them. Which brings up the whole pay-to-win debate. Then again, hard cards should have to be earned by everyone, and shouldn't be able to be bought.
Alright, I'm calling bulls***. Just to test out the odds, I tried upgrading 20 times on various equipment, and all had a 78-99% chance of working. Not a single one worked.
This rigging of the odds is such a money grab, just like many other aspects of this game. Really, playing this game is only worth it up to level 20 or so, because after that you NEED to pay real money to proceed at any acceptable rate.
I wouldn't say this is a strategy game. Unfortunately, a newbie with great cards will still destroy a "pro" with below-average cards.
And you can pay to get the best cards.
I love it when the other person disconnects and the CPU battles for them. I don't have to wait 60 seconds before I can take my turn, and it's like a more unique-decked AI.
@rocktheworld315 Damnit, don't link me to TVTropes. I'll be stuck there for hours looking at random crap I've already read several times, for no reason at all.
@power2fly For sure. I'd play good money to have a portable version of this game. This is one of the best games on Kongregate, and better than most games on the Apple/Android store.
@0z9tu Thanks, that's what I was wondering. @TrogdorAnimator: Someone earlier was complaining about how the cards didn't tell you anything, and I asked for an example. My comment asking for an example was marked down, and I didn't understand why.
Easter Egg: Stay a few minutes after the "credits" roll, and the sky goes dusky, like the sun is setting, and some shadows appear on the blocks. 3/5. It's a bit too easy, and the controlls were a bit off. Not bad, but not great. If you could improve on the same concept--maybe make new puzzles, add more levels, and work on the camera--this could become a great game.
@JakeRocksTheBox While I don't like JB, I don't want to kill him. You just jumped aboard the bandwagon and say you hate him with all your heart, even if you just don't like his music. I say, I want to kill you right now more than Justin Beiber.
