Get the Knight Skill that allows additional actions for ladies and you immediately see what the strategy is. Pump up your mage for fire power supported by healer for heals and additional firepower. Get the king skill for additional action for fun and you're golden. The mage is far too OP. Range, teleport, coupled with double action and two more actions from knight and king. You can pump out 40 dmg a turn or 30dmg and 1 confusion. More than enough to solo the game. Also, moving in to nuke and then moving back out of range doesn't cause enemies to follow. That is broken and makes the game too easy. But still cute. =)
So, two 'tips' make this game trivial.
1) Block and attack
2) When you're low on life, enter the inventory screen and switch cape. Just switch and switch back before going back to the fight screen and you'll have full life again...
First game I care enough to write something about. I have to say it was fantastic fun and took me away from my assignments. Very do-able without resorting to the walkthrough, even when you're trying to get all cores. Just try the different towers to find out which maps they work best for. Strategies change as you progress. Infector works great early game but later becomes obsolete as you need higher damage on your towers...
