SAS: Zombie Assault 4

NinjaKiwi, your company is worth over $20 million and this game has been out for almost two years now, and yet the various optimization problems and connection/server issues haven't been resolved. A GTX 750 Ti SLI'd with a GT 740 is by no means a potato. Neither is my i7 clocked at 4.5 GHz, and this game is borderline unplayable on most maps due to aforementioned lag.

Episode One was good and clever, this one was just a bunch of guessing. 0/5

Morse code is bugged. It translates to , 5, x2, -2. AR means All Received, A.K.A end transmission. 5 x 2 - 2 equals 8. 8 doesn't solve it. So I google a walkthrough, somehow it's 45 + 5 x 2 - 2, which is 98, which also doesn't work.

I have another idea... What if you split the game into parts? Each part would load your old savefile. This would keep the filesize down to make it easier to export, and since you could split it into however many parts you wanted to you could make it as big as you wish?

Now that Unreal Engine is free and it has been proven that Unity is a great platform (Kerbal Space Program runs on Unity), are you planning on remaking this game in 3D? A game of such scale feels wasted on a dying platform like Flash, and as you've stated before you can barely export it as the project is so large. Steam really needs good Early Access games to prove that early access games can be good and not another Grass Simulator. I would greenlight the f**k out of this.

@Seth6o Or, y'know, just downgrade Unity. Never use Internet Explorer, ever.

Pay to play trash.

First time playing, watched cutscene, tried to punch zombies and my character stopped responding and bugged out. All it did was walk around aimlessly and punch at nothing. Is this a part of the game or something? It's really damn annoying.

Seriously, did no one question their king when this all went down? "Sir, the undead have come back! We've already lost all of our quarters!" "Damnit! Send out exactly ONE unarmored, unskilled person with a tiny knife. We will then make him do every single one of our tasks by himself, and only send out backup when he gives us money for training!" "But, Sir, shouldn't we train the guards ourselves and give this guy an army and the best equipment we have?" "This is a genius plan! Do not question me!"

Would be nice if you could import materials and goods. Importing materials is solely for a quick pinch of materials and costs more to import than it does to export or wait for a factory to produce it, and goods play kind of like a fluctuating stock market, prices go up and down and if you play it right you could end up rich. Or, maybe streamline the goods idea into materials so you can buy and sell materials for fluctuating prices?

Developer Reply

Hello there, if we add algorithm for prices to go up and down, then someone would need to play at all. He would just stay there to buy cheap and sell expensive. Game would end in 5 minutes, and that wouldn't be fun :) We want to keep a balance in the game and make it enjoyable!

You don't get money from enemy deaths if the death is caused by a special ability. Is this a bug or is it intentional?

Only problem I have is how slow energy is. An hour to just get enough to upgrade it? Other than that, great game.

Just curious, what do some of the stats do? Like collision damage, I can't really tell what that does on droids. It'd be nice if there was a hover over tip that tells you what the stat does.

I think the guy's dying. He's going through the five stages of grief, with denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. The TV is relaying what he's hearing from the outside. To me it seems like there's a doctor and a few loved ones in there, and he's in a hospital.

Becomes way too grindy when you get around 1 quintillion. Took two hours and I can't purchase any more Dreadnoughts as they cost 1 quintillion, and all of the upgrades are for ships I don't need to use such as scouts.

Barely knowing how to play, the second fight (not counting the tutorial fights) pretty much destroyed my two small ships that apparently couldn't aim for beans. Now I'm too poor to buy goods to sell, and my ships are broken so I get the "You lose" screen literally the second I enter battle.
