I put up with deleting the .sol files left by the game (both the one under the game, and the one hidden under "japannewsreview.com,") but having so many places where near-perfect platforming was required was finally just too much for me. This would be a 5/5 if it weren't for the gimmick; as it stands, 1/5. Try again.
Unfortunately, this game is unplayable for me. I'm getting the mouse lag problem like many others. OS is Windows XP, Flash is updated to latest (Version: 11.3.300.262,) browser is Firefox. Mouse (and Firefox itself) begins lagging as soon as I click to the city street screen (down the first road.) Hopefully this helps you track down the bug.
This is a wonderful concept, but I agree with the other players - computer play is needed. Also, for the next version, I'd like to suggest a hotseat-style multiplayer mode - that way, two people at the same computer can play billiards against each other.
Another suggestion (which should theoretically be doable in this version as an update) is a full-table highscore mode - that is to say, no shot limit, but you lose points when you make a shot and don't get a ball in.
The hit detection is too touchy when your crane is wedged or nearly wedged up against a riser and you're carrying a fragile box. The lightest touch on another box causes it to break. Great concept, but the oversensitivity ruins it for me.
Okay, so where, exactly, is the "final password" even hinted at? Are you trying to see who knows how to decompile your Flash or something? Seriously. :P
I'm having a bug where the game begins acting oddly when dispensing hamsters in the Hamster Room. It doesn't lock up, but you can no longer smash the hamsters when jumping on them and you can't leave the room.
I can provide my .sol file if it's useful in hunting down the bug - seems like it's repeatable.
This game deserves a higher rating and more gameplays, definitely. It's an interesting control scheme, it's easy to pick up, and it's fun to play (and watch stuff blow up.)
One thing that's unclear to me, despite all the answers: on the kinetic missiles, the response is "5 damage * hit-duration" - does this mean the amount of time the explosion radius covers the target?
As a suggestion, I'd say to reduce the kickback from the kinetic missiles a bit - it sends me careering across the screen if I get in range of the explosions. And in range I often am, since the missiles explode on impact with the baddies that are usually chasing me. I guess it's partly a risk of using the high-power missiles, but it doesn't make it any less obnoxious. ;)
Thanks! The obnoxious-ness of the kinetic missiles is meant to balance out their amazing firepower. Yes, the 5 *hit duration is exactly what you wrote.
Fun game just like the first one, but my god - how many times do I have to keep grinding with no apparent progress before I can break the final wall after the wallet? I'm ready to just say "screw it" and play anything that isn't this.
So. Laggy, clone of Bunny Invasion, only 30 levels, laggy, unbalanced sound, no way to change the screen shaking, not enough levels to upgrade everything, crap graphics, and no closure for the endgame?
Did I mention it was laggy?
Mr. Frost and 'old faithful' would like to have a word with you. 1/5.
The aerodynamics (or lack thereof) in this game makes me cry. The only way I found to maintain a height (for a few moments) was to pitch down until it says "PULL UP" in red, and then pitch all the way up. Flying like this in an actual plane would either rip the wings off or at least give you a very bad case of motion sickness.
