Nice appearance, though I feel like there must be a slightly easier way to sort through lists than the scroll bar. The scaling seems alright, at least based on initial impressions, but outside of buying things there's not much interactivity. It's good for the kind of incremental it is, but with the effort that went into setting up the UI, I wish it was a little deeper. There only seems to be the one mechanic (more spawns = more rewards) and no way to possibly lose; just buy, wait and win. There's nothing wrong with that, but again, for how nice this looks, I wish I had reason to look at it for longer. It's the same beef I have with AdVenture Clicker and a lot of the other idles here, minus having a prestige system to encourage replay.
In short, looks great and clean, but minus a prestige system or deeper mechanics, there's not much to do. Also, first.
3/5
i have plans for the game to become MUCH deeper, but that takes time, so i though i might aswell release this version since it is complete, and work on extra features on the side.
And there is a prestige system, it's the souls, and there is gonna be more, but i'll get into that in later patches.
I was going to suck it up and grind through for the badge, but then I refreshed my browser. All of a sudden, even though I had enough money to upgrade from triple darts to spike arms, it wouldn't let me. Instead, I had to re-buy EVERY UPGRADE IN THAT TREE, including the one I already had equipped. A browser refresh that forces me to grind for ANOTHER hour to buy an upgrade for one slot out of three? Pathetic.
As soon as I build an internet room, the guests demand another. 10 seconds after I build another, nobody uses either of them ever again. Repeat for gym, repeat for arcade. These guests don't deserve my service.
I love the fact that each level seems to have a "solution." My only critique would be that the A+ times could actually be a couple seconds shorter in most cases. It feels like there's just a haaaiiirrrr too much room in some levels for slight mistakes if you're going for the perfect time. Sometimes by 3 or 4 seconds.
Although it is a great feeling to find yourself having to wait for a fraction of a second for a spike ball to move out of the way because you're just too fast. :) Why this game is only a 3.8 at the time I'm rating, I'll never know.
Or, you can fight bandits until you get a ___ of Holy Light. The one that adds 100-300 damage and decreases critical hit chance by 90%. Heck, find of the items for two or three slots. You won't need critical hit when you hit about 700 most of the time.
I was doing well until around the 16th level. Even with all the bonuses I'd saved up, I ended up using most of them trying to get the last piece. A save feature or at least checkpoints every 5 levels would be very nice.
