very nice visually and musically, I would have liked a little more variety in the figures though. It was very relaxing, yet challenging at the same time.
I give most games a fair chance and try them out before rating them poorly... take my word for it, don't bother. It's repetitive, boring, and cumbersome to play.
@Ceasary: I like the game, I like that you don't have to pay, I like idle games because I have a life and can't constantly play but enjoy doing something to kill a few minutes. But seriously, stop trying to convince everyone that the game is great or that it's not a rip off. just let people play it or not play it. You won't change anyone's mind

Harold did defeat the last viking invasion. Alfred did not even come close to defeating the last of the vikings. instead he turned the tide against their invasions and helped establish England as a unified nation rather than just a group of smaller separate kingdoms.
even after Alfred there were frequent viking invasions. as the game says, the last of the viking invasions of England was led by Harold Hardrada.
the game doesn't say this, but Harold Godwinson's brother Tostig was earl of York and northumbria and was deposed by a rebellion. King Edward the Confessor did nothing to support Tostig nor did Harold or tostig's other family. angered by this, Tostig went to Norway to gain viking support and incited Hardrada to invade England and Help Tostig gain his earldom back.
overall the game is pretty historically accurate in its telling and in the game play and units deployed. 5/5
Only a set number of battles took place in 1066, the game is very historically accurate in its story and in the battles. you don't get siege equipment because none was used in 1066, you don't get more battles because these are all that took place in 1066.
for sparta: If you buy the space laser and upgrade the ammo fully and the radius fully you should be able to get through very easily. you won't have much money left but you won't need it. i only upgraded my wall to 300 health and i ended with 290.
