My enjoyment of this wonderfully crafted game is ruined by the horrendous non-customizable controls. Where is my WASD? Why can't I use up to jump and space to interact with objects? The controls bother too much to even finish the easy badge. :/
Don't usually like launcher type games, but this one was great! The rocket jump made it very not-boring be forcing you to be concentrating and trying to constantly time the rocket boosts *just* right. The fact that you can make yourself go faster by timing it right is genius.
I think I did it too well... them darn turtles have been bouncin' around for 20 mins and show no signs of slowing down. I even went up to get supper and came back and they're still goin' at it. >.>
New strategy I just discovered: First make a tracer tower with beam + range + slow + whatever. This will collect all the mobs into one clump. Next, make a sentry tower with beam + multiplier + battery near the end of the level, and as soon as the group gets in range it goes PEWPEWPEWPEWPEW and kills them in the blink of an eye. :D Try it, its fun!
One way to get rid of the annoying rotating colors would be to just make it so you can put any upgrade on a tower, with the restriction that you can't have more than 2 of the same color upgrade, and on towers with 4, you must have at least 3 colors. This would effectively make the same rules for upgrading towers, but without having to wait for the colors to rotate. Click + if you think this is a good suggestion!
absolutely amazing game, my favorite TD game so far on kongregate. The fact that you constantly get new programs and upgrades to play with keeps it interesting and fun right up to the last level. Also, the difficulty curve was PERFECT. Awesome game, 5/5, favorited.
When it said "swift crow used sand attack! Accuracy lowered!" I suddenly had flashbacks to my pokemon days. Stupid pidgey! Stop using sand attack! -_-'
