It was at dodo home world 4 that I decided my computer was going to be playing Learn to fly idle without me, all day. Consequently, I also realized the meaning of the name of said game. Good move developer, good move.
I love it as a FPS guy Im satisfied with it being in Beta. One feature I believe is a must have for a good quality FPS is changing the controls. I hate using WASD but you kinda need to if you want to run. Add that and I say best game on Kong.
Oh sorry I thought they were called panels. Ok so in the space shooter that stencyl has on their website the ship is 3 pictures and the bullets are 3 pictures and when put in the game it looks like the ship has rockets and the bullets look like fire. I think its like a gif maybe?
It could be GIFs... I don't mess with premades, so I don't really know what you are talking about. Generally speaking, making actors change naturally means using frames to animate them.
Hi thank you so much for doing these tutorials I just finished the tutorials that stencyl puts out and Im excited to find yours. I was just starting this one when I saw you starting with making your own characters. Can you tell me how big I need to make them and also how do I make them into 3 or 4 or more panel drawings so I can make them look cool? Thanks!
I generally make my characters around 40x40 (sometimes taller). You want them to be large enough to be seen, but not large enough to get in the way. I'm not sure about what you mean by the panels though...
this game is dumb why is it that every time a game is made to promote something it sucks. how about instead of spending 3 weeks coming up with the game AND making a finished product to endorse something spend some time and make it good.
Ok thumbs up if you had a similar experience. I made the set up so well that it is now 26 min into the same combo with ZERO sihn of slowing down! I am at roughly 1 million 300 thousand and Im tired of waiting to see how high it will go.
looks like it will be cool when it is finished defiantly needs a story line atm I cant shoot and Im not being shot. would be neat if you made it so he could eat gun powder and lay poop bombs near the turret...just saying
I think its pretty good because you used your own sounds and graphics unlike most beginners who just use stuff they find online. Keep at it and dont listen to the trolls.
