Is the theme song "Chocolate Rain" or am I nuts? One design flaw; I didn't see the first food object for a while because it was beneath the score! I would partition the UI apart from the game space. :)
This game is so addictive! I love the retro flair and the simple premise. Hilarious mistake: setting off the laser and falling beneath it. Enter, the troll face of DOOOM.
This game is a poignant, beautiful, and surreal post-modern masterpiece. I am in awe when I consider how each level is an allegory for Jack's tragic story. The final level is the most powerful of all, as you consider how you might leap across what appears to be an impassable abyss. I won't give it away, but the solution is a beautiful portrait of what it feels like to be in the very depths of despair.
I'm a huge fan of surrealism, so when I saw this game, it instantly reminded me of "The Son of Man," by Rene Magritte. The painting shows a man in a bowler hat wearing a suit with a red tie standing in front of a cloudy backdrop of the sea. What people most remember about the painting, however, is the iconic green apple obscuring the man's face. Maybe it's the colors used in this game, but it really reminded me of that. Gorgeous game. I would love to see more like these.
A great, beautifully designed game that responds well to the touch screen. However, it's not particularly challenging after a while. The monster rarely seems to ask for more than five fruits. Still, the art and music make it a nice game to play and relax with.
I played a better version of this on a GBA homebrewed game. In this version, the copter is a bit large, and the SFX leave much to be desired. There's not even any music! There's a lot of room for improvement here.
This game is surprisingly challenging, emphasis on surprise. It really keeps you on your toes! It will take a lot of trial and error before you understand the mechanics of all the stages.
I'm a big fan of puzzle games, and while I don't always understand what I'm doing in this one, it's pretty fun. My main issue is that the senss of touch is a bit buggy. Light touches seem to work best, but it always takes a while to click "FINISH" to end a round.
Wish we could put you in our favorites! You rock.
