@TenpaStudio, I am using Brave browser, but it seems many people are having autosave issues - if the game would stop crashing, I wouldn't complain about the autosave... and if the autosave worked, I wouldn't complain about the crashing. But I don't see how the game can require the window to be active at all times (even if hidden to the side as you've suggested to others) and then have crash issues. If the intent is for it to always be active(no offline earnings), than these safety features need to function...
Also I know there's performance modes added which are a great start, but I still don't understand how my PC can play Apex Legends in high quality with struggling but this cube builder causes my GPU to go nuts on the bigger cubes?
UGH restore my progress to level 68 please, what kind of game in 2023 doesn't save progress automatically OR have a manual save function? Awful 1 star until that's fixed.
1 - game seems to be loading on Brave now.
2 - why does my character have to look so depressed when not winning, cards is supposed to be fun for everyone regardless who wins lol.
3 - wish we could do away with all the unnecessary animations. On a game that is such a grind to complete badges, wasting so much time on planes and character cards and trying to trigger spending/powerups so frequently is annoying. Teach us where they are and let us decide when we want them.
Ugh get this tedious game to stop crashing, provide offline earnings, and get the autosave to function on all major browsers. I'm sick of losing a half-day progress due to crashes and no autosaves.
Warning to all who use local saves to be careful, especially if you like to overwrite the same file each time! I just accidentally saved a fresh game over my local file where I had 17 challenges done :'(
If you do the timed challenges and buy a time skip in the green-gem shop, the game freezes. Maybe they shouldn't have time skips buyable in what is essentially a short speedrun challenge.
Learning from the discord, if you are only aiming for the badges: Get to colonization and then rush colonization over to the right-hand islands. Beyond the small one there is a massive one, where you can build basics (houses, water, berries, woodcut, wood tools) and very quickly boost your population. In about 5 hours of play time I went from just about 1000 population and I'm now over 2300 and closing in on the badge, with plenty of empty area to continue expanding to until I'm finished.
Playing this game reminds me when we used to get viruses on our computers in the early 2000's and the popups just kept coming and you frantically had to try and get all the windows closed at once or more popups would come. Thanks for the nostalgia... and anxiety.
Good thing I decided to take a screenshot after 30minutes of play because right when I hit 500 coins in a single game it crashed. The comments are right though - boost your Amount +1, and Reload Speed +1. That's it. Then start with knives and get all knife upgrades offered or else blowtorch, and hold the A or D button for half an hour.
I've beaten Tyrant Overlord Baal a couple times and got to something call Doobag... I want to get to this impossible UBV4 but not sure what that even is/what direction to take my gameplay to work towards that. If I'm just here for kong badges, should I be bothering trying to chase down pets, for example?
The game so nice, you should play it twice... do Kongregate staff read any feedback on any of these newly badged games? My computer can barely handle all the stupid idle games I gotta have open all the time for the recent badges, and now I'll be merging into my 70's if I plan to keep up with these stupid merge-it reskins.
Are there any current tier lists for hero use for progression at different ranges etc? I've searched online and don't see much, Soleil's beginner guide doesn't really cut it at my stage of game (approaching stage 250). I don't have the discord but if there's a decent tier list there I'll figure out how to do Discord lol
Has anyone made a good guide for this game on what order to build in, which buildings make other ones obsolete, etc.? Trying to treat this as a casual game but I've been at the same population for a week now, doesn't feel like much progress without me doing in-depth studying... not much of an idle game if you need to take a course on how all the buildings and people and RNG interact, in order to succeed.
If you think abt how many times you click in a level, maybe 100 if you include all the misclicks, and you only save say 10 pets per level, than this game is going to require over 2.5million clicks to get that last badge... enjoy a new computer mouse and carpel tunnel! :p
Are there any guides for this game posted to help with map layout to advance further in game? I'm at ~600 population and feel like I'm out of space to grow; feels like i have barely enough food, but barely enough resource space to give up for berries/crops/livestock etc. I'm not great with these strategic builder games, but am targeting all the badges...
I'm in the Raid 140-145 area right now, and my team has been built around knight + archer... my archer 1-hits but shoots too slow to take out enemy team before my tank and other heroes get taken out. Any suggestions from higher players about what cards to prioritize at this range?
fThanks for the reply. I will verify this with BRAVE.
