I don't think you're understanding what the numbers mean then. The very first puzzle defines several squares right off that cannot possibly be else where, starting with the single yellow square...
@uDisConnect
The game concept is pretty old - much like sudoku, which this developer also made a game for. It's down to the individual puzzles and the implementation of the concept, rather than the actual game mode and rules.
Would you accuse someone who made a crossword game of copying someone else?
What puzzles have people found to have multiple solutions? I've completed sets 1 and 2, and have not found any. Every one has always lead to the correct solution simply by meeting the required colours in the side/top bars.
DEFINATELY needs target priority for turrets.. Got the last wave of the final map with 20 lives, and then lost because my turrets were convinced that the skeletons were bigger priorities than the boss....
Never able to get passed the fourth level, often dying on the third - the spiders and mage things are just a massive step up, unless you get double ranged spells. Being one-shot by something that is ranged sucks. :/
Not sure if it's been mentioned, there's a fair few comments, but would be nice to have other move keys, IE IJKL or to have WASD to move and JKL for spells. Playing on a compact laptop keyboard sucks.
Nice little waste of time, but the powerups need to NEVER appear in the walls at the side. Keep dying because my colour fades and the only colour powerup appears in the wall...
Interesting, but when you have about twenty units moving down the sceen to get one guy in the corner, while another moves quite happily right down the middle and kills you, it's kinda sucky.
Agree with Heimdal. The upgrade system is rubbish - the only way to win is to basically grind for resources in the first levels. If you just play normally, you complete the first four, then get stuck in an impossible situation all of a sudden, since the only upgrade you are likely to get is the radar evasion, or maybe health. Maybe get points to spend at the end of a level, instead of earning resources during the game?
Rather nice game, but a few little things that niggle. What does the travel skill do? I swapped out all the people who had travel skill for those with higher fight skills, and can see the combat increase, but nothing gone down?
The gold bonus for achievments is pointless. 250g is a single journey's wages. I can make about 100k in a single journey from trade at this point. Does XP actually do anything, or is it just a counter for how many achievments you've done?
And lastly, would be better if the interface didn't need to slide around every time you get into a battle. On some trips, I get into about 10 fights, and the sliding boxes take up more time thany the rest of the journey and fights.. 4/5 tho :)
YEah, probabilities are really off. I was stuck just waiting on a 1 for my last peg to win, and watched red go from having none in to having all 4 in and winning the game. BAH
One little thing - any shop purchases stay with you between levels.
You can just create an all coin level, buy all the upgrades in test mode, and then insta easy-mode. :/ Otherwise, nice little platformer
