This is a wonderful game, and clearly a metroidvania. I noticed some people had voted my favorite tag down, so I would be very happy if some of you voted for the tag "metroidvania", so other fans of the genre could find this little pearl :D
It is a really good game, but I spend way too much time just waiting for the character to stop jumping and walking heedlessly in one direction. I can waste my life in way more fun ways than that. Sad, because I really think the digging is fun, and I would like to do more of that.
I think I've stumbled upon a nice little glitch. When you have earned all the medals, you'll have less income that way, so what you can do is you can start another save, erase that, and then go back to your original save. All your medals will be reearnable, with all the cash that belong to them! :D
Erkk155: Well, it COULD be friendly. If so, you wouldn't want to turn it towards unfriendliness by shooting. The unmassive entities, not to worry, as they're so easily killed, but those big motherloaders... don't START anything!
And I wonder exactly what people are disagreeing with. This games states that there are homophile people. Does anyone disagree with that? That they have more obstacles. Does anyone disagree with that? That that is sad. Do people actually think it is not sad!?
I'm kind of surprised this game has become the subject of such debate. I know there is a lot of conservativity going around in the world at large, but I would assume most people here are gamer nerds, and pretty intelligent, and dare I say, openminded. What's up with all the negativity towards homophilia? Not trying to offend anyone, I just found it surprising and interesting.
Luqui01:
Hmmm... why do you disagree? What is a "normal people"? Assuming you are talking about heteromonogamonormativity, well, yes, they are different... they have sexual romantic attraction towards the same gender instead of the opposite gender. There might even be culturally based tendencies. I acknowledge those differences, and I am glad you do too :D Some people are homophobic and some even believe there are no such thing as homophilia, and think they really are heterophile. What love and the different types of it are, is a tough question, as we have next to no undeniable facts about these things, so my strategy is to just deal with it like it is. If someone claims to be gay, I believe them, and say "that's coool/fair enough!"
Not directly, I chose to keep the message pretty straightforward, but you could argue that some of the later levels that have lots of characters support polyamory :)
Emerald M: This being the computer age and all, I really see no point in not allowing us to use the very same card in different decks, that exist simultaneously, as long as we don't actually use them simultaneously. That is, can't have it in both the defense deck and the attack deck, unless they are totally the same deck. It is possible to do this, but it means needless switching in and out, not to mention the searching and finding... computers can do that for us!
To each their own interpretation, I suppose!
