instead of saying something is out of range could you change it so that your ship moves so that its within range then completes the action? really frustrating to have to have to constantly move gather move gather etc, it would be much nicer to just be able to hit gather and be done with it.
make all items purchasable with in game currency and all items also purchasable with out of game currency, when you make content assessable with only real life money all you have is a pay to win game with no balance or skill, just who spent the most to win, paying to skip the grind for in game cash is still something many people will do, but also makes everyone playing your game on equal footing because no one is paying to get content free to play people will never be able to get.
