Good start, but does it really need to be so huge? I had to scale my display to 75% to fit it on my screen, and it's not like the extra space was used for anything.
This is my biggest to do right now. Let me check, maybe I can get it to work this night. Thanks for playing and your comment, I am really interested in what you do and dont lile!
Puzzles are charming, but the UI needs work. Can't tell when an inventory item is activated; there should be a visual cue. Navigation arrows are non-intuitive to the point where two rooms are both to the left of each other. Should be able to click away text boxes when I'm done reading. The sound stutters when transitioning between rooms.
Okay, so I finished the game. The pace is too slow overall; there's no reason to ever have it at 1x or 2x, and even 4x is pretty slow. Just speed everything up by a factor of 4. The interfaces of the pop-up windows need to be more consistent; the building upgrade window has a red "X" to close it, but the Salary, etc windows don't. That sort of thing. The money and Pop counters overlap each other when the numbers get large enough, which makes them both unreadable. The text in the Current Objective is hard to read against the background. That said, it's a good start. Maybe take it back to beta and re-release when it's more polished?
Does not work for me on my main browser (Opera); after I click "Play", it flickers to the game for a moment but then goes back to the start-up screen. Works for me on Microsoft Edge.
