i got the outlaw achievement by crushing a policeman, but somehow that policeman still stopped me... how does that work?
fun game and everything but you REALLY need to fix the policemen's immunity to being crushed
on the Tangiers Hotel mission i got 111.11% accuracy with a pistol!
it said my mission shots: 9
mission hits: 10
so my accuracy added up to 111.11%!
no idea how that worked but i'm okay with it
i think one of the worst things is the random generator and the map layout.
i would say i got about 80% of the way on harder and about half of my reclaimed area was nothing but farms. i literally produced over 60 food a day but could not hold all my survivors because the generated map had a total of 4 suburbs and only 2 apartments. biggest problem is the map.
even on normal i would say about 40% of my map was farms and another 20% was churches.
that alone basically screwed me. great game, just needs some more tweaking.
improved version soon?
ah yes. the guy of my dreams...
a black man with red hair on top and gray on the sides.
he's sarcastic (+0)
ooh! a shopping lover! (+9)
and... a murderer. (-15)
wonderful. but i found the guy of my dreams!!
the controls tend to stick quite often, causing the character to jump repeatedly or walk forward endlessly. this has caused my characters to die or even get stuck in the level multiple times.
other than that, another good game by nerdook. :)
dang... i hate the flying saucers. i had gone 90137 feet without touching the ground, and still had some ammo left, and turtle was so high i couldn't even see him on the screen but then all i heard was the saucer noise and the money sign came up... stupid saucers
i think 2 of my favorite things about this game are the banana (i dont know wtf he says but it's hilarious) and the turtle's expressions on his face. great game, love the graphics and style :) 5/5
dang i thought the L was an H because they wrote it all squiggly. "don't use the letter l." me: "okay, that's easy..." i finished with no h's and it was like YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO USE THE LETTER L! sorry sorry! lol
also, about my above comment, i lost the rifle and pistol the left guy had (i can't remember his original name b/c i changed it)
so i lost two weapons and now all i have is the standing lamp, glass mug, balloon animal, and wine bottle...
at the beginning, on the customization screen, the one on the left can't be changed, and when i click on another character and then click back on him on the left, it says he has the other character's weapons and customization settings. it also says all weapons are NaN?
this game effing sucks. the controls especially. i'll be firing and then it will just move me out the bubble and i con't control it. also, desperately needs a save feature and the ability to repick upgrades... just saying. a few much needed tweaks, and this might be close to a decent game, but as it is... a waste of time
for previous comment: need Mana Leech skill to get 200 on the Legendary hit. without it you can only get about 150 mana. also, obtaining the 40% bonus to legend amps this attack.
side note: why does using revive on a live person (autolife) wear off so quickly? mine seemed to wear off in about 2 turns... it should last longer i think
i found that using the Rune Blade and attacking with Legend is very effective for tough battles.
when doing this, rune blade's MP Drain power stacks with legend's multi hit combo and rewards you with over 200 MP. useful if low on MP and in a boss fight
also, trying the dying and retrying method (for headshots in order to get sniper badge) made it unable for me to fire, and my survivors seemed to be stuck on reload...?
the game is okay, it has a few bugs to fix though, i think. after being wounded enough, it tends to veer one way or the other, and i dont like how when hitting another car, you go left or right, instead of plowing through but losing speed, which would be more realistic. also, i beat everything except the dead on time one, and i haven't gotten a single achievement yet??? >:(
