I mean with the lag, the game does start, but freezes immediately on second screen as soon as I get into the town.

I loved the previous games but this was unplayable :( I tried running it in the latest versions of Chrome, IE, and Firefox, and I have Windows Vista home premium. My drivers are all up to date, and I have a good high speed connection straight to modem, no router. I'm really disappointed because I wanted to play this one too :(
