Boring game, lame political message presented in an uncreative way, unfriendly controls that make gameplay obnoxious, and a huge ad at the bottom of the screen. At least you have a mute button, I guess.
Fun little puzzle game. Simple, straightforward, with decent graphics and an interesting concept. Reminds me of a more basic version of Lights Out, by Tiger Electronics. You had a mute button, which was great. Walkthrough.. eh. I don't really understand why you'd post the solutions to your own puzzle in it, but that's up to you, I suppose. Overall, nothing special, but still a fun game.
Great game. It's not the same old boring Tower Defence - you've added a new twist, and added a lot more to actually do. Controls and combos flow perfectly, art is beautiful, and music is great (of course, you can hit M to mute). Controls work really well - WASD, Arrow Keys, and Mouse all work. I enjoyed it, and look forward to seeing more from you. I really like your style of art.
Looks like how Warlords would look if it was actually a good game.
No, but seriously. It was pretty nice. It got a little repetitive near the end, and overall was really easy, but it had nice graphics and decent gameplay. Got a little frustrating near the end when the enemy could bombard you with never ending 'support' attacks, but overall I enjoyed it.
Haha, wow. Gameplay's nothing special - just a good ole' hack and slash. What really makes this stand out, however, is the terrible art and text. Grammar looks like it was written by someone who had just learned about the English language and was trying to cobble together phrases using a thesaurus and a dictionary. There's no grammar to be seen. As for the graphics, you tried to create a 3D effect and epicly failed. Ground looks weird, some baddies are in 3D, some are in 2D, and overall everything just doesn't fit.
Loved it. Graphics bring back a retro feel, game is fun and entertaining while making you want to throw your computer in a pool! Sound is non-obnoxious, and of course, muteable. Simple concept, but extremely fun to play!
Do people honestly have trouble figuring out how to draw full stick figures on Flash?
I find the Shootorials to be much more relevant and interesting than this. Maybe try applying your own tutorials to your Flashes and making some interesting games and such?
Game is pretty well done. There's well-made cutscenes, smooth gameplay, and nothing that really glares 'awful'. In spite of this, however, I felt that something was missing. Maybe it's just that the characters look so basic, but I didn't feel that there was anything that made me want to play it for any extended period of time. After you progress past button-mashing and realize the ways to truly decimate your opponents, the game becomes pretty static.
Pretty generic little breakout game, but it had its own pros and cons. Graphically, it's pretty well done, but sometimes a little overwhelming. The dancing squiggly line on the screen made it a bit much, and kind of brought the chaos a little bit past the 'tolerable-acid-trip' level. Thankfully, however, there are options to turn almost everything off, allowing you to basically customize the game as much as you want. As for gameplay, I felt that it played pretty much like any other breakout game, but still managed to be interesting enough. Without turning off the squiggle, I would sometimes get minor jerks in motion, but once I configured correctly, everything ran smoothly. Overall, pretty good game!
Honestly, you need to really stop spamming Kongregate with your 'test' games. Wait until you have a nice, finished, polished product before you show it off. You wouldn't walk out the door after just putting your shirt on, or publish a book after just writing a rough draft, would you? Same concept applies to making a game. Make sure all aspects of it are well made and well done before you release it to the web! Put some effort into your games!
Thank you for this game. Until playing it, I had blindly followed the media stereotype that elephants are our enemies and should be shunned. This game opened my eyes to the truth, and for that, I thank you. I always felt a pang of regret when my rave was ruined, but like a perennial flower re-emerging after the frost, I would hit the reset button and begin my joyous rave again.
In all honesty though, the only thing I wish this had was a volume slider, simply because for some reason when I play it on my laptop at the lowest possible volume it's still really loud.
What a terrible game. Graphics were laughable, and gameplay was ridiculous. Cards that were being 'summoned' could still be attacked and even kill the opponents. A Rat could easily kill a Hydra because of the 'roll system'. Unlike other card games, where cards have set values, in this game each card has a chance to be terrible or good. This results in some lucky runs, where you instantly obliterate your opponent, and some extremely frustrating turns where your massive army all fails to hit a single Rat, or even takes damage from their attempted attacks. Gameplay needs some serious re-working.
Why would you need a map editor for laying out your Tower Defence Towers?
If you could spawn sample 'creep' and study their pathing, it might have some use as a tool, but right now this basically has no functionality unless you're trying to make Desktop Tower Art, somehow.
Tsk, tsk, tsk. Stealing games is highly frowned upon, you know. Original game creator's account can be found here : http://www.kongregate.com/accounts/mrsneeze .
The game is already listed under his uploads.
Love it. I played it before it had API, and fell in love with the controls. Reminds me of Super Mario Bros. except with smoother gameplay and quicker action. Now that it has badges, I'm playing it through once more, and I'm still loving it. Art is great, gameplay is amazing, and sounds are very fitting. Job well done, Meat Boy!
Didn't really enjoy this. All the particles exploding and things flying around made it just a little TOO chaotic. Also, the game was a little buggy - my shots would sometimes pass right through enemy units. Finally, the game was just too easy - I died about 12 times, ignored my base, and spent the entire time attacking the ship and upgrading and managed to win with no problem. Of course, winning let's you see that ending cutscene, which is frankly laughable. It's looks like it was made from a totally different game - art is different, colors are different, what's going on?
Oh dear. Firstly, this game doesn't represent a finished product at all. It's basically a beginner's trial or entry into Flash, and really shouldn't be uploaded to the web yet. Additionally, when you do finally upload a game, I would recommend keeping it in English - as that's the language that most of Kongregate uses/speaks. Your game itself has some pretty obnoxious bugs - for one, when you lose, the music starts playing from the start again, thus making you start to hear the same soundtrack overlapped on top of itself several times. Try again?
