I like it a lot, keeping in mind that this is declared an Alpha, I like it even more. I don't know what the plans are, but having some things that have been already suggested would be nice. Like being able to take apprentices in once the master quit, sell the furniture, having a bit more furniture to buy, more space isn't necessarily needed (well, if they were some kind of automatic switching and more apprentices, maybe it is). The artwork is great! I think you're onto something really good here.
I really like this game, even though it has something of a grind. But the lags, even with low quality and tints off are getting unbearable, clicking outside and waiting doesn't seem to do the trick for me either. Any other suggestions? Or maybe the dev just have to fix this.
Quick summary of everything I found so far. After a couple of days the game freezes randomly after the shop closes or before you open the shop, when you are running out of stock the game freezes, when you are in the build menu and you push around your furniture a while, the game freezes. At least the save button works most of the time (it does not on the bug where the game freezes after the shop is closed).
What just now happened was, the game froze just randomly on the end of a day, without me running out of stock. (freezing on both comments mean, the guard pacing around and nothing is clickable)
Unfortunately, thats just a bad game. Thought it would be better, considering its a littlegiantwork game. It almost looks like the concept designer quit the team.
Fortunately you dont have to adjust the jobs every 3 seconds to prevent your colonists from either running towards the enemies and get killed or to run around without fighting back and get killed. Bummer, seeing as this really seems to be a great game, once you ignore this problem.
Even though i really enjoy those kind of games, the increase of difficulty should be a bit better, you jump through 44 levels and hit your head against 45 (before the patch) then it gets fixed. You jump through the next levels until you reach 75 and you absultely dont have a clue how to beat it. By now i tried approximately 10 different approaches and i wasnt even once close to beating it.
@tribaltrouble: actually those levels taught me how to play the game propery. Just pure rushing is key the almost all the levels, to some extend you can even ignore energy production.
Will be applied!
