Huh, I am able to play the first level but nothing ever changes. I cannot proceed to the next level, I cannot click on the "guess here" textbox, and even though I unlock achievements they never appear when I go to the Achievements menu. Bummer.
I do like this game, but later stages like crosstrianglecross are all but impossible for me to accomplish on a keyboard. When I press too many arrow keys at once my computer gets angry.
The lack of a pause button is kind of irritating. I know I can just walk away, but letting the timer just count down over and over irks me.
Just not enough happening to be fun. Way too passive. As it stands I'm bored waiting to be shot at and the moving targets are too hard to hit. Perhaps if sticky shield was how the game started?
Not much gameplay at work here. One could easily skip the upgrades and moving altogether and just let the stars fall into the character. There is no motivation (positive or negative) to drive me to play better.
Is this is sequel to some established game? I have no idea what I'm looking at and no idea how to play other than "match gems". Disappointed that you've left me (and other newcomers) completely in the dark.
Tough call. On the one hand, I love that someone made a game that isn't about shooting everything for a change. On the other hand, this seems decidedly unfair as giant objects can fly on the screen from any direction without warning and wipe out my entire flock. I don't see an upgrade to prevent that either.
Probably the most frustrating things about this game is the aiming/shooting with the mouse. I rarely have to shoot anywhere but left/right, wish there was just a FIRE key option. That said, this is a fun game and I enjoy it.
Had to rate this 2/5 because there's too much downtime. Long combos are the goal but there's zero interactivity once the hammer falls. Watching a counter increase for minutes at a time isn't fun.
Figure out a way to balance the zany combos with actual gameplay and this could be awesome.
sorry, but unlike the first installment, there's no fun to be had whatsoever with the basic game. I get the joke, but I don't have the patience to slog through an hour of crap to unlock fun.
I have absolutely no idea how to reach 70mph. Indeed, 35 seems impossible. I realize there can't be a walkthrough, but how about a tutorial animation on picking up speed?
Great concept and presentation, but terrible controls. Even when I lowered the graphics quality the game responded to my commands with seconds of delay. Totally unplayable.
There's lots of good stuff here. Combining a "knock down targets" game with something that can hurt you is pretty cool. Gore is fun. I don't understand why clicking "continue" doesn't go to the next stage instead of returning to the menu though.
Also, level 12 makes no sense to me. ("F***in' Magneto, how does it work?" heh) Is the anvil supposed to hit something? Is the sawblade on top supposed to fall? It either gets stuck on the magnet or it lands in the lower-left hand corner, where the zombies can't reach it do to an incline.
I like this one a lot. Better than Canabalt because there is incentive to jump more often or attempt "perfect" jumps for bonuses - which is risky but results in higher scores. Great idea.
