very good news: there is 99% that the beautiful update will be next week. The exact day is uncertain, but considering the past updates always fell on Friday, it is reasonable to confidently believe that only a week more. Counting down the next 7 days guys!

Very good news from developers: As soon as Guild Quest is on Steam, there is an update in here too. The time is within this January. Considering today is 18th, and past update is on Friday every week, we hopefully believe that next week on Friday, there will be update. If not, then there is a high chance for the week after because it is on beginning of February. Reason to take that long: devs have to do matrix of tables, calculations bonus for each type of card, each level, each island, each combination of them. A MATRIX of effects. So let's not rush them, or else we will, as usual, complain about the bug issues and effects. So excited!!!

4) For those who max all of them: well, you are like me, and if many of you are like me (I believe so), devs have to nerf something "behind the scene" because otherwise, each of us may have a hundred guardian cards and the new players will have no match for us, considering this is the "original" version of Beta. That's it for now. Use some strategy to play for a couple of days, and then enjoy the maximum of everything (with the nerfing effect).

3) For those who complain about the few number of cards: this game needs a little bit brain to play. You have to use the strategy of combining the effect of cards and invests your money wisely into upgrade. For example, if you can read quest 9 (quest 10 is boss) and you can't reach quest 10, you have to upgrade quest 1-8 in a way that will give you the most gold (combined effect with quest cards). However, if you upgrade the level of quests too high, then your guardians cannot pass the quests, then they can't reach another island. Considering the spawn speed of high level quests, then the ironic fact is that even though in previous time, say two guardian cards of yours can pass to quest 9, with the high-level quests (in the same map), they can't even reach quest 8. Thus, it needs strategy to move forward considering only in quest 10 can you obtain more chests from Boss.

1) To get more guardian cards, look for BLACK cards. As far as I am concerned, after following the games from beginning, these black cards are contained ONLY in blue chests in Island 4. However, obtaining a blue chest does NOT guarantee you have a black (guardian) card. 2) Doubtless there will be more islands. This is the first launch of Beta version, which is deemed as the original. No update for this "original" yet. Briefly, we are at the beginning of everything.

Doubtless nerfing is a strategy to reduce the number of guardian cards (or else later in game there will be more trouble). But why don't devs formalize it with an update? Maybe simply an update with bug fix and more friendly, beautiful UI, and some info about other updates?! To this extent, the longer the update awaits to come, the more trouble the game will create. Sooner or later, before or after upcoming updates. devs will have to deal with them all. At that time, as a trade-off, new players may come, old players might leave. That's some mourning for devs. Here aissome info I think useful for new players:

An irony of this game and similar games like it is that the longer the update is, the wider the discrepancy between the players who follow at the beginning of Beta launch (22th December) and the newer players, say for the past two weeks. Then, the devs "solve" problem (or not?) by nerfing the outcomes/ chances of black cards (or even blue chests) to the extent that for 3 consecutive days online 24/24 (this time), I only get 3 blue chests from Island 4, compared to the beginning, I got 6 blue chests (both two bosses in Island 4 provide blue chests). What's more astonishing is that the black cards are increasingly "legendary" to the extent that for the past 3 days, I got no black cards.
