1) Press "n" to disable perks like the meteors and drills. So you can do the "kill everything with one gun" challenges.
2) The level cap is raised to 60 after beating the 2nd last level, so don't worry about choosing perks badly. You'll only miss 1. (level 60 - level 1 = 59 perks of 60 total)
3)Level up guns to the max. Most of them gain extra abilities or become 2x as kickass when you get to level 5, (and after the fortress, level 6). For example, quicksilver gains homing abilities when it gets to level 5.
4) If you don't want medals, and you just want to kill things gloriously, try the in-game cheat code: "poo". If you don't want to die, try "poppi". Just type them in while playing the game.
You're supposed to find them by beating the last challenge level on masochist, but ah well. There's really nothing to enjoy about them after you've beat the game that badly.
Loved the game. Styled quite obviously, I note, after my favourite Zelda game. I think you really put it together well, and you could've stretched it out a lot more, if you'd wanted. I would've preferred that, personally, but you managed to make a perfect lunchtime game.
no need for white magic to activate flight, just wait a boringly long time. To fly, once it says you mind has taken flight, I needed to first press up from a standing position, and then move to the side. I couldn't fly if I jumped while running. I suspect this is due to the glitchyness of the combo of this game, my browser, and my flash version
On some browsers and versions of flash, (ie: flash for linux), double-click de-focuses the window.
It was REALLY REALLY annoying to play the game while dealing with that. Configure keys option in the full game, please?
Nevertheless, I managed to get all 25 feathers, and I greatly enjoyed the game thus far. Can't wait to see what the other equipment is.
