I think I found a bug - I pushed the pool hall boss into the bottom right corner, started pounding on him, and found myself caught in a loop of about three seconds of graphics playing over and over. Pausing and unpausing just made the screen freeze.
There's potential here, but if this is improved game balance I'd hate to see what it was like before. You need to scale enemies more gradually rather than jumping from easy to impossible in just a few maps. Still, I'm giving 3/5 because the playable portion is fun.
Kudos to Kongregate for adding badges that don't require the purchase of additional content. I'm not sure how anyone can get the hard badge without buying some of the adds, but I guess that's why it's hard. :)
I don't get it. If someone posts a demo it gets ripped apart, but if someone posts a game that's unplayable without spending money...excuse me, 'kreds'...it's one of the top games on the site? What's the difference between a demo and a game you have to pay to play? 1/5
You know, if Kongregate was going to make this their featured game, they at least could have confirmed the game save featured worked properly. I had six castles beaten, saved the game, and came back to find myself with only two castles and about 30 missing levels.
