I loosed all my saved progress, just when I had completed everything.
Bloody damn.
I know I sound like I'm whining, but this sucks. I just had everything, then badges appear, and I don't have anything at all.
The idea is good, but the execution is not. At some point you can't think up new ideas so you got to wait for the hint every time, unless you simply start combining every bloody thing, which would require a very special personality that doesn't have the ability to get bored. Also, some of the combinations go from weird to totally insane (example: water+glass=ice? It doesn't make sense). Some elements are very weird (like freezer or boiler) while normal elements are missing (like beach). To continue, the fact that there's no way of knowing which combinations you've had except looking it up the the reactions history or remembering makes you repeat the same combinations over and over because nobody can remember every combination he has used and most people probably don't use the reactions history because that's also a lot of work only to look at what you've already done. It could also be very useful if there's a way of indicating that an element isn't necessary for other elements anymore
Also, I found an even better way of killing things. you fly above it, point nose down, full power, AND MAKE THEM FEAR THE LIGHT! If you do this above the water, you can reach a depth of 300m, besides smashing a giant wall of ice from above.
Good game. You can get useful upgrades without getting the feeling you're grinding, got fantastic cut scenes, the secrets are fun, the medals keep you busy, everything is nicely balanced, and it also looks good. 5/5 here for making this awesome game.
Also, I like the music very much, especially the one from the main menu, made me wish it didn't stop playing every time I tried to do something else :).
While apparently this game is a bit deceiving since there's a Finnish myth or something (I don't know about it, but there's a lot of comments about it) with the same name, I like it. It could have some upgrades, but that's with almost all games. It's got a good plot, at least some originality and you actually progress while playing (with the double jump and stuff), and the plot makes it even better for those people who like that kind of thing (like me). 4/5.
Good game, but it could use some extra stuff. First of all, almost everybody finds the lvling after a fashion too boring because it takes too long. To solve that, there are several solutions. 1) Give achievements an experience reward. 2) Simply let people lvl up faster. 3) Make more maps so people can keep going on long enough that when they're all Brilliant, they're also max lvl.
4) Make a Survival mode, which simply means endless waves until you're finally overwhelmed.
Those are in my opinion all good solutions. I also think the skill trees could be better. For example, when you've maxed out the orc skill tree you get an extra bonus for all orc towers, and when you've maxed out everything you can either just get a bonus for everything, or get the ability to turn godmode on/off, for those people who like using overkill to create massive destruction :). Vote up if you think these things would make the game better.
Well, goodbye all the time I spend getting champion on all four types. After a while it got a little bit boring, except for the music in the throne room :).
Well, thats nice. I took a break from the game, and when I come back, I go and find the final riddler and answer his riddle. No ingame achievement and no badge. Apparantly you need to solve all riddles in a row without taking a break from the game.
@masterslayer00 I got roughly the same thing. I am allied with the merchants, but my reputation with them is low while my reputation with the mercenaries is high, and I can't do any quests for them.
Completely awesome! This is probably the only game where you can become a ball and roll so fast that you get launched because you rolled up a hill. Just hope the pencil comes soon so I can start slicing things into bits.
the fun part is when you have a base of about 50-100 strength make a tentacle to a enemy on the other side of the field, and then cut it at your base. full strength hammer tentacle!
At least 2 people say: don't throw it backwards. 5 seconds later I had to restart my computer because the music didn't stop even after I restarted the game and muted it.
I know you did it James, I have proof: There was an invisible high heeled shoe at the scene of the crime. I know you like to dress up as a lady. Best argument to arrest a man ever. But the response "Only on weekends, Jenn" is also the best argument aginst it, except if its weekend. 5/5.
