Once I unlocked it I could beat pretty much everything in the game with the fire pengu + lightning pengu and spamming the ice attack on the ground enemies (or dragons) with impale+freezing. The fire pengu can single handedly kill every flier other than dragons, and the lightning pengu basically clears everything whenever it's cast so the ice attacks doing basically no damage is largely irrelevant.
I feel like this game would be better off if the shields didn't exist like most games of this genre - especially having shields activate as soon as a planet is taken, it should wait a few seconds before turning the shields on.
As is the game is purely about taking planet a split second before the AI every single time, and having them waste everything running into the shield.
For level 45 and 75 I recommend trying to rush towards the 2 science buildings, send all of your jelly towards the centre science building afterwards, and then go straight for the boss right after he sends some out. If you capture the boss jelly, they will never try to take it back and you can easily take the rest of the map back from there.
Too many random trash mobs for my taste - also the boss fights tend to rely on just sitting in the back row healing over and over (admittedly I didn't go all that far in though).
Actually, the autoguns are pretty overpowered in general - there are a lot of maps that you can easily rush the opponent by just building the constructors and then spamming autoguns in the enemies base (though I suppose that might be a fault of the constructor - maybe there should be a timer before you're able to use the constructor so you can't spam turrets instantly).

More or less the character I used to beat the game (albeit at a higher level). Level 42/21 (I really didn't need to rest very often, so its health is kind of gimp).
There's a hint that says it's a bad idea to connect too many monsters in each level.. Seriously, don't listen to it. Trying to avoid monsters will reduce your income and also prevent your heroes from leveling up.
I'm not really a fan of the way there are higher levels of each card, because it feels like it makes it impossible to really customize my deck. By the time I'm actually able to get the cards I wanted, most of it will be horribly underleveled and I need to start over from scratch pretty much (and since as far as I know there's no max level this will happen almost indefinitely).
The all directions on the reactors/tech domes are only for some levels (typically the 0G levels, though the map editor doesnt explicitly require that) - most levels they only work in the 'normal' direction. There's an indicator showing which build directions you can use at the bottom of the screen.
Also the developer has said that creeper world 3 will be top down again on his blog.
Medium mode should really be reworded to something else, or make it easier for the first few missions (haven't seen the later on ones) The first mission without any upgrades on 'medium' is nigh impossible.
@Gabe2 The dragon is actually a decent unit - but not as a powerhouse unit, I just maxed out bite, fire mouth and strength on it and didn't boost them - if you put them near the enemies spawn the burn damage amounts to quite a lot and they don't cost too much without boosting them.
@Arbiter27 Incidentally, there actually are computer generated maps in the full version - most of them are pretty boring, but there are some really insane levels too (and some literally impossible, but very few).
@Dedeuss There already is a level editor on the knucklecracker website, but only the full version of the game can play the custom levels (technically you can download the level editor for free, you just won't be able to play the levels)
