Not quite sure why I lost control of Iraqi oil.. Can't get it back even through doing related Special Operations... 2020, 152k, no more oil except in iraq which i have TONS of troops in, but still cannot complete actions and says the oil flows to non western countries... Why isnt the Special Operation working?
Haven't played this yet but am reading it's different... Is the old version still available? I'd like to play the one I'm used to after trying this one out..
So many of your ads are glitched to the point where I can't even get points (they won't play) and some they do play and I watch them and get no points! It's completely over and it says "watch video to collect 1 reward" not "collect your reward" like it's supposed to change to. I have notified someone on the dev team when he had a live twitch feed up, and as he said, its kongregates deal (all the ads work fine on other sites) so apparently its being addressed... How about until then, a save key? like similar to Trimps? (It's in many games but just the first one with it that came to mind).. again, GREAT game. i'm enjoying it!
was working fine, then it kept saying i didn't watch the whole ad, EVEN THOUGH I DID! It wasn't just one ad, it was like all of them... i even tried clicking the links after (which is not part of the deal, we get rewards for WATCHING the video, thats it) so I restarted and hopefully it was a glitch but very disappointing when Notdoppler can run it FLAWLESSLY. Literally. Anyway I obviously am here because I like Kong's community and site more, but I do go to other sites for specific games for this reason, and reasons kinda similar like this for other games, where something happened while getting put on Kong's website or something that just causes it to NOT WORK RIGHT. Annoying. Again tho, SUPER, great, AWESOME game! 5/5! Would love to keep seeing improvements... (uh if you can think of any, i can't atm, but people are creative.... Another thing I love about kong, user to dev interaction! Epic)

Just have to say, LOVE that since you have ads, you can get a reward for it (and the ads are basically optional but I watch them for several reasons) AND the one the DOESNT have an ad, and is just a super cool x10 skull buff... Auto-pick up on skulls and diamonds is a necessity so great job there, and many things are just very intuitive, well thought out, and some very ingenious implementations. Great Game! it does get a little long winded (but so is the nature of idle games lol people just want more!) so I have to say 5/5 for sure!
Been a user of Steam since Counter-strike 1.5 went to 1.6 and it was ONLY for counter-strike and you HAD to use it.... So I've been through a lot with steam (and am sure I still will). Have a good one guys, wish you all the best. Bye
If a game is going to go to any platform, the "Comments" section would certainly be a fine place to Comment, on it... Anything related to the game really. My comment got so many responses I can only follow it through my mail and don't know where it is on here, but the point being I think it got more responses than needed, i even had to delete and repost because a lot of my comment was ignored in the response.. I don't like steam. That's all. Proceed to do whatever You want with Your game. I would not like to discuss this further. I appreciate the communication but I think we've been as constructive as it's gonna get and and further comments will not be ready by me as an attempt to keep this topic/conversation from being (more) pedantic. Like I ALSO said, great game, and what I said about steam originally was only cuz I don't want to see your game die in the sea of dead games graveyard over at steam..
Fair enough SoulGame, and thank you for the updated response to my *long* messages back, it means a lot to me that you read them. I don't have a problem with dev's going with steam, they do get a lot of purchases overall, but I just couldnt' believe it was gonna be "Oh just use steam for only this game and you should be fine. I simply wanted to point out that's not fine. As it seemed at first you were just going to go with steam and you'll trrryy to release it elsewhere (but knowing Steam they will want exclusivity...) anywho that's AWESOME that you will have an alternative for people have problems with steam or don't want to use it. BTW, GREAT GAME MATE!!!Really, some very carefully thought out, crucial detailsl; truly well done. 4.8/5 :)
ANYWAY, I'm not here to preach, just simply offer my experience in hopes that you will re-consider at least SOLE distribution through steam, so it can be made available WITHOUT the steam platform (I tried to run Minecraft through steam, nothing but problems, actually had to reinstall both... luckily I'm computer savvy *enough*) But good luck I doubt they would take a deal like that but I put it out in another form in addition to steam, or just say sorry steam. Anyway, best wishes with your great game you honest made in an amazing amount of time! Oh how I'd like to pick your brain about like 25 different aspects of this game! Truly a work of art! I'm sure you will do well whatever you decide. Caveat Emptor :)

Go ahead and try Steam... I point out Of Guards and Thieves and how that died when it went to steam if I must use examples.. Just my 2 cents.. But you will make much more off loyal Kong fans than Steam kids who, in general tend to only buy when something is highly discounted, or when they have "used" their parents credit card (which is a slippery slope as it is).
I love the Kong community, I am a part of it as player and dev since around 7 years. I do hope kongregaters who loved my games will follow me on Steam or elsewhere without feeling betrayed :)

Please don't put Swords and Souls 2 on Steam! I really would buy it, but not if its through Steam... Horrible, no, non-existent customer support, and they over-extended themselves like 8 years ago and tried to do so many things they became like LESS than mediocre at A LOT of them. Just say no! (to Steam!) (To respond to SOULGAMES response, SOULGAMES said: "First of all thanks for your support! I think there will be other ways to get the game if it’s possible. Simply having steam on my system has caused problems, not mention just LOGGING IN to steam has caused me many problems, and I'm not the only one. Please do not just skim over my comment with a apparent "simple answer" when the problem is far from simple...
I'm not skimming, it's just not the place to complain about Steam bugs :p As an indie dev, I just cannot go without Steam. It's pretty much the only way to earn a decent living. Sure, there are plenty of debate about how super low sales are bad for indies, what Steam policies have done wrong, etc. I'm aware of those. But it doesn't change that it's the only viable way for us. Anyway as I said, we'll most likely offer an alternate way to buy S&S2 on our website by example, for all those who don't like Steam.
Maybe make an upgrade that will auto buy more storage when its full? kind of like how if you have the trap upgrade, builders will build traps all the time if you turn it on (no matter what else you task them to) unless you turn it off. A very similar system for storage would be great! And having to get the upgrade kind of makes it fit with the game better so its not just a "gimme"
