i was gonna give the game 5 stars, until time to replay stages came. The amount of gold awarded for replayin a stage is RIDICULOUS, makes farmin gold boring and buyin upgrades unviable
I love this style of games, but i see 3 things that make this unplayable in my opinion
1) pathing is jsut to complex to edit/remove
2) the building space is TOO limited, and the range at which terrain expands is useless
3) games speed is SO slow
Suggestion: As skill/item slots are limited, and you end up having 1k unnused skills. An easy way to make the game more scalable an replayable is to make item combinations.
Just by joinin 2 scrolls of healstreak you could get a lvl2 scroll, increasing heal values for example. Combining 2 lvl2 scrolls would give you a level 3 scroll. And so on.
That would make it worth while keepin an eye on the shopkeeper, and an actual gold buffer aswell.
Also that would make soft rsets more viable on the long run
There will be a level all button in the update on sunday (probably). Automatic toggle on/off sounds like a good idea though. Adding that to to-do list.
Love the concept, BUT the fact that fatigue doesnt let u open chests, scalin of hero is so slow compared to how lvl scales, added to how hard it is to capture monsters -luck on rolls + luck on capture dice- , All this add up to make this such a boring game after a while...
Id play it again whn balance changes are made
Theres an issue with smelting, i have 160 copper ore and 120 iron ore, yet i cant smelt (only after clickin on smelt 30times) aftter it does smelt it smelts 2-3 pieces then stops and its back to clickin until it decides to smelt again
