Ot's an interesting idea. Two things: First an in-game description should be there. I had to look at the description on kongregate to know what I have to do. Second: There is a bug: If you type "5+5*(1234" the game thinks I did 10, because I have used all numbers and it didn't evaluate the *(1234 part.
This is more of a memory game than a puzzler. All you have to do is memorize which button to press. Plus it's hard to see the swiched-off doors. I played half though and dind't have a single moment where I had to think which path to choose.
I think it's fun an weird that the blinking restart button tells you "oh, you just got trapped, you need to restart." - "Oh, you just fell down, you need to restart." - "Oh, you ran into spikes, you need to restart." but without doing so immediately.
After beating the game I feel like I fell into the same trap ten times on different levels. That moment when you think you finally got it only to step into the next trap is so bittersweet.
I love the gameplay, I like the music and I really love the worm's face: Everything is boring. APPLE, APPLE, GIVE ME APPLE!!! Everything is boring. Oh god, spikes!!! Everything is boring.
Shrink in normal mode: Boring, now I have to wait a few seconds before the next shot.
Shrink in time attack: Damn, now I have to aim better.
Ghost in normal/survival mode: Useful if you have only one or two left. Ghost in time attack: Shotgun HELL YEA!!!
I love how those modes differ so much. Still, time attack is pretty easy. Maybe make only one at a time? (Probably two for the level where the key is on the other side of the house)
Nice game the only thing that bugs me is that it feels like cheating when you take some coins, die and respawn with the coins still in your pocket. 4/5
Thanks! I had to restart the music after tests proved that actually it helped a lot players to get the right rhythm.
