I gave up, even without towers on the map, or any enemies taking burn/poison damage, the game was still operating at 1 frame per 5 seconds. The enemies had hundreds of trillions of life points, if not more. I really couldnt tell. had over 400k points, but it would have taken 4 hours to run out of lives to bank my score.
Its not stolen James, i did check the developers page, and he has also uploaded Fujitsu defense AND the original wasteland defense. if you dont like it (maybe because it has bad coding which makes the game CRAWL on infinte mode) rate it down for that, but dont lie to everyone on here and claim its stolen. And its not just Fujitsu with new maps. On Fujitsu you could win every map with just one frost tower. He has adjusted that, and now you cant.
Good lord, i thought i was going to crash my computer just selling my towers off so the game would end faster. when the game has to use scientific notation to display the health of a monster, and then make calculations on that health each frame, thats a recipe for frozen flash.
To win (ie kill things untill the monters health approaches infinite or the game slows to a standstill) start with a machine gun, dont upgrade anything. then build a fire tower (the cheaper one), dont upgrade anything except maybe one or two range. then build an expensive flame tower. start upgrading the reload of your towers untill maxed. keep building flame towers and maxing reload. after you have 3-4 flame towers, NOT before, put 5 points into the reload reward upgrade. (this will give you a flame tower with a reload of 3. then build a golden tower and a frost tower. Then wait.
on infinite mode -- have 4 flame towers each with a reload time of 3. enemies comming in right now have an ungodly amount of life. I cant even count it, but i know that a billion damage per second of burn isnt even touching the last 5 digits of the monsters health. It may be a very long time before i can bank my score though, because the game is really crawling -- like 3 really slow shots from a flame tower, then the game pauses for two seconds, then 3 more really slow shots... plus the chill from my frost tower seems to never wear off, so they are all walking at .05% speed on top of the game crawl.
read the FAQ guys, yeah lvl cap is 70 right now, but northrend is underdevelopment which means lvl 80 cap is too. This is still beta and updates come out fairly regularly. if you want a stable polished game with no bugs, dont play a beta.
If you want to see the blizzard damage, just pull two enemies, and watch the two second ticks of damage on the second enemy. That damage is the Blizzard damage.
I am supprised that no one has made a large release pc game that is an "idler". I guess Sims would be closest to a an idler out there. Someone could market their game as 'like The Sims but without having to waist so much time making sure they have a good breakfast or that they dont forget to piss'.
This might be an unrealistic expectation, but the ability to give an item to another one of your characters would be sweet. But it would probably require a major code addition.
BUG -- if an enemy is in the bottom row and reaches your wall, it is impossible to damage that enemy. One enemy row should not have the ability to auto-defeat you once reaching your wall.
unit drift is annoying, but they should NEVER disobey orders!!!!! when im not ordering them, if they want to go home to defend, fine, but they should never make their own decisions immediately after recieving user orders.
