I started playing this game only to get the badges, and have really loved it. A game that lets you progress visibly and without a feeling of grinding is a great achievement. A big thumbs up, and, rare for me, 5 stars!
It is frustrating that progress is lost. Twice now, I have gone back down to soldier and have Survival mode locked after closing the game. The second time I checked everywhere to see if there was a way to save, even played a dummy normal run in the hope that it would save my progress.
That was one of the more requested features but I guess it ended up being a bit confusing, will revert it to previous version if more people complain about it
Experience and levelling become a real problem as the game goes on. Unlocked South America, and completed the first few missions, now need to wait to get a bigger plane to continue the main mission sequence.
Am level 28, need 31...
Running backwards and forwards earning a few XP points at a time soon becomes boring.
Was not terribly happy with the energy system, but was playing because I enjoyed the implementation of a global representation of discoveries. Now, with video advertisements popping up every 2 minutes, my vote for this would be -20 if it were possible.
Oh, we are REALLY sorry for this, these video-ads were included only for showing on foreign "pirate" flash-portals, not on Kong! It's our mistake that you saw them and we admit it. Sorry! Now this crap should be turned off, try again, please =/
Same problem as others, started the game, tried to find a mute button and ended up on Unity's website. On reloading, I am unable to create a new character. Ridiculous...
I think one small improvement that would make the later game slightly more bearable would be to have a shared "wallet" across all continents. It is not like we are making massive amounts of money on cleared continents, and would allow faster initial progress on a new continent, held back by levels needed for the planes.
I seem to have run into a problem, while trying to fulfill the Kilimanjaro Blues quest I didn't have a large enough plain for the knickerbockers, but saw the uncle frequently. Finally I get a larger plane, but the uncle who is giving the knickerbockers has vanished. Anything I can do to fix this?
Also adding my voice to the issues with the markets having so few goods to sell, and the massive jumps in prices of buildings and planes.
