I liked this one quite a bit.
Despite some of the other comments, 5 starring the stages doesn't remotely require doing all the pickups; had the hardest time on stage 5 getting 5 stars but I did do it running like a maniac with anti-friction envelope on for almost the entire level. The key in that stage is killing a bunch of dinosaurs, going in the right route for more pickups and doing it very very quickly (9000 is required for 5 stars).
All the other stages were much easier to 5 star than stage 5.
being ranked high in all-time skill rank is good
the real champs are the ones who consistently win tournaments with the best players
caring about # of wins or w/l ratio is for losers who farm noobs all day

the AI is very predictable and you always have the tools to beat any monster, it's more like a puzzle game with a foolproof solution to each monster
good game, went through it 3x on version 1.0, found it easy
kinda sucks getting a bunch of light and medium armor epics for my warrior/cleric team though
