As mentioned by other comments, summoner is pointless if they just get destroyed automatically at the boss. Also, I have a lot of electricity sounds constantly going off in the background. It's very frustrating. Overall, a downgrade from the first game, of which, it's nearly identical to anyway.
RockEddy: Copy your local save file to a thumbdrive and call it good for now (search/google this to find out how to get to it). Not that I disagree with what you're saying, but... well, "I hardly play your game, please listen to my request" sounds silly. Even if it would be an actual nice thing if it could be implemented without much hassle and/or cost.
Also, remember that the stat gems are permanent too after you use wings. Early on, they're somewhat important. Once you have enough, equipment is all you need to keep going.
Drag items, spells, and wings to your character to "use" it. After you realize this + how gold stays with you each time you exit the dungeon, you should have little to no trouble going straight from the early floors to the very end. Just grind some gold at the start so you have money for potions and needed equipment upgrades. You will find wings after 4 floors in a chest every time I believe.
After playing so many other idle games, I'm surprised that one of/ the oldest one is the best one. Great mix of idling, not idling, and not in-game rewards.
I like how the last hard badge on this game has less people who have it than some "impossible" badges. This game's simply not fun enough to warrant the time.
Vegetable101: The worst part is this game's successor, Tyrant Unleashed, is at least 10 times worse in the "after your money" department. That's not an exaggeration. You literally cannot make progress without real money there. Even through the missions; you will get stuck. And yet, there's more people in its chat rooms than here...
moskaubear: The electricity alone from keeping the servers up, while not much relative to the cost of an employee, adds up. I imagine that because this game was bringing in too little profit (not income, profit... I'm sure there was enough income to at least cover costs), they decided it wasn't worth investing resources to keep it going. I wasn't around long, but the top comments complaining about the DP rewards being scaled back tell me that was a sort of final effort to get people to spend. Which failed miserably.
Well, gold's fixed. I like that damage increases at absurdly fast amounts now too when you buy upgrades for it. That said... three main things: 1) I want the other stats to scale/be able to be increased at that high of a rate too. 2) I want a use for gems/enchanting after being covered in full vet gear. 3) Have gear be at least somewhat useful compared to veteran gear. Much as I like it, having level 2000 something gear outdo level 100k+ legendaries is silly.
Okay, I've played just long enough now to realize... once you get past a certain monster level, you earn so much gold that it doesn't even matter if it really goes negative. Which is also silly, but... at least it works. Also, yes, once you get a couple veteran items, the game becomes ridiculously fast. Especially if you pick the damage class. When you're ready to retire, just stick on the highest item levels you can, then reset. Usually is enough to max out the retire level.
@shinobi306: Once your level (which is displayed in the top left) reaches a certain point, you can go to the veteran screen and click retire. That level is determined by the levels of your equipped items. Which is both good and bad.
Okay, so I "played" your "game" a bit longer. I don't quite understand how you decided on these energy numbers. I just got to a "boss" that cost 100 energy. 1 hour 40 minutes of waiting. Going by your "best value" war bond package and the base energy of 200, that's also about $1 for 5 seconds of entertainment. You're either too weak to win, or overpowered enough since you likely spent money elsewhere to "beat" the game (there's an auto fight button for a reason). Even other missions at this point seem to require minimum 30 energy. That's over 25 cents for a few clicks. Yes, you can wait, but waiting over 3 hours for 15 seconds of play, including menus, is not playing. $2 for at most a minute of entertainment is not a "game" in the slightest. For every human being here, for your own sake, do not play this "game". You have many other ways to entertain yourself for far longer and far cheaper (even actual no cost) than you will ever find here.
The last water area is dumb. I try to carry as much speed as I can going into the last area, since I know I can't get it back if I'm unlucky. When the majority of powerups don't even appear anymore, it's utterly pointless.
It's absurd that I can pay less for a full fledged game for cheaper than what you charge for anything in your game. Hell, I get more value by going to an actual arcade, and that says a lot about how bad this and similar types of "games" are.
While not the worst running game I've seen, this seems not well optimized. Otherwise, it's a decent idle game. Not a fan of them in general personally though.
Well rainlord, as you have just finished up your 7 quests badge for this game, try some other strategies. Being serious here, you cannot play any card game for the little amount of time you have played and expect to be taken seriously. Hell, I've been playing on and off for ages and still barely know anything about all the various useful decks in this game. Enjoy the game for what it is, and find/move on to others that fulfill what this one does not.
