- Cool Internet Person makes a Cool Internet Thing - Cool Internet Person gradually gains a following because people like the thing they make - People start paying Cool Internet Person because artists gotta eat too - Cool Internet Person gets enamored with side projects, gradually loses focus on their core project - Cool Internet Person becomes overwhelmed keeping too many balls in the air and they burn out - Original project that first made them popular is left unfinished, or wrapped up with a hasty and unsatisfying conclusion You do great stuff. I support you on Patreon and I'm gonna keep doing so as long as I can, but I've seen too many awesome creators go down this road. Right now you're juggling FIVE different unfinished stories across two different universes, and you're still putting out games that don't wrap anything up. I trust you as a storyteller and game designer, but at this rate you'll burn out and nothing will ever get finished, and I really don't want that to happen.

Played through this game a second time after letting it sit for a day or two and it hit me in a completely different way. I'm a teacher myself, and ended up seeing the whole game through Tauriel's perspective. One of the worst experiences as an educator is watching students lose faith in themselves because of how you taught them (or failed to teach them). Sometimes it's because you're bound to the course requirements set down by the education board and those requirements just aren't attainable for some students; other times it's because you personally dropped the ball and failed to provide the support a student needed. But either way it's a horrible feeling that sticks with you long after the student has left your class.

That was a pretty well written response. Thanks for sharing!

It seems like there's clues to a much deeper story going on here. The cryptic warnings in the typing challenges, CCTV monitoring, some of the books in the library, what little we learn about Tauriel's past, and of course the part where humans are a rarity (and the rest of your family are dogs)... I'm not sure whether I should play through the game five more times to piece everything together or just wait for Game Theory to do an episode on it.

Developer response from EPGstudios

I'm not sure if Game Theory would even be able to piece together a video that would A) have a satisfying, mind-blowing conclusion, and B) be rooted in the game itself. Mostly because it takes a lot of skill as a game developer to make a good mystery, and I'm not sure if I've really done that. (A lot of this game is meant to be metaphorical, anyway, and Game Theory doesn't tend to go down the lore-as-metaphor route too much.)

This episode put a new light on Tira's endless guychasing. It seems like she's still just desperately looking for ANY kind of family who will love her, and aggressively searching for a boyfriend is an outlet for that.

This kind of puzzle is usually called "Numberlink" or "Arukone." Like other people have said, they are quite similar to 3D logic. I quite enjoy this sort of puzzle, but they're a bit hard to come by, so at first I was pleased to see a nice big batch of them here. However, there really needs to be a way to create a trail only partway; as it is, a trail will just disappear when you release the mouse button, unless it forms a complete path between two squares. Creating partial trails becomes necessary for solving the harder levels.

I keep coming back to this game when I want to relax. There isn't any skill involved in it, not really. The whole point is to listen to nice music and watch the pretty bubbles.
