There are lots of tips on how to play in guidebook. Try to avoid melee clashes as long as possible, protect ranged units, use rogues class fighters to distract enemies, and don't forget to upgrade your soldiers. And also use tactical pause to issue orders without any rush.
Wow i forgot to save and lost all my progress, almost beat the game and everything.Wasted a whole day for nothing heads up people there's on hint that you have to save. :(
