Ok, yeah, this is way too much backtracking and wandering in circles for a game with forced daily encounters. I have a team of 4 maxed-out beasts and every caravan purchased, and at the moment the game wants me to backtrack again in a situation I can already tell is going to send me RIGHT BACK THE WAY I CAME, AGAIN. This game is interesting, but goddamn no I'm not going to deal with this.
I think the minion-killing achievements go too high.
I have completed every mission with all the stars, killed all the impossible bosses with all the stars, gotten all the achievements for the endless mode, maxed out all my upgrades, and STILL am not even a third of the way done with the minion-killing achievements.
I believe "Robobugs" is bugged. The robots have the thing on their strip that implies you can use a writer on them, but I don't have the option to place such a thing and the engine keeps sending me things that only fail because they have that stupid thing on them
The cost of upgrading the blacksmith really, really does not measure up to the cost of the upgrades doing so unlocks. Upgrading it to level 37 costs 15,456 but upgrading ONE unit's attack to level 36 costs 34,188
Ok, here are some tips for people having trouble with mission six+ First, if you blow up an Airfield/Tank Factory/Harbor, all the units produced by it also explode. This is extremely helpful in the case of the airfield, because trying to land and save any POWs with more than one fighter nearby is pointless. Second, as far as I can tell, you don't need to save any POWs at all. I saved the far left, far right, and upper right groups and blew up the center ones maintaining the airfield with no hesitation. Also, when your copter crashes it does about as much damage as three bombs, so A) Don't crash on a POW camp that's taken damage, and B) even if you'd die, flying straight over a big target and just dropping bombs until you get taken out is very likely to destroy it.
I killed the plumber 57 times... and got all the other achievements, so I'm not going to stick around for another 43 plays just to get that one timewaster.
I was thinking of trying to play this, but looking at the second fountain upgrade decided me. If you want us to wait five hours for a second point of max energy then I don't see any reason to play.
Everyone else has mentioned the obvious problems, but I'd like to express my confusion at the mechanic where your energy to use skills is also your xp reward at the end of the fight. Do you guys just not want us to ever use our skills?
Sooooo..... Not going to make it. I barely scraped by with a bronze on the very first song, and my fingers can't keep up with any of the ones after that. it might have been easier if I could map the arrow keys to hjkl or something, but I'm gonna just say I suck at this kind of game and move on.
I don't get it, why do so many of the older games lag for me now? I remember playing this when it was new, and it certainly didn't lag every time I blew up a car back then.
Is there anyone who has their stats change when levelling up? Mine have been at 200/100/300 since I returned to the game five levels ago. How are they supposed to be advancing?
It seems like if there is a fix for this bug, they are applying it on a per-account basis.

My advice for winning the game is to take all the dragonbreath options and stack poison on everybody. Two of the first few knights do a two-hit attack, and they apply poison twice. None of the enemies remove any negative effects, so the final boss was taking over four hundred poison damage per turn when he died.
