I remember liking this game, but when I try to play it now I'm stuck on the sign in screen with none of the buttons working. I opened a ticket with Kabam, but no response so far.
Possibly related, but the card counts seemed to be getting messed up as I moved things from collection to deck to side. At one point I had doubled the number of copies I had for some cards.
I keep getting "invalid deck size" warnings in the deckbuilder when I hit save that seem to go away if I switch to another screen like play and then back to decks and make the exact same change and save.
That option is related to the small "scale" effect that happens when you mouse over a card in your hand or the field. We are still looking into ways of letting players read the cards by simply hovering them, but it will require some redesign and the ability to fullscreen, which we are waiting on kong to approve ;)
Of all the CCGs that showed up on Kongregate this month, this one is my favorite. Here's to hoping you keep improving the game and more people discover it.
This game is one of the better CCG's on Kongregate. The lack of documentation/wiki hurts it, but so far I've had luck getting my questions answered in the in-game chat.
I just beat this with the lame bump the boss off the top of the screen trick. On the one hand, I feel lame for using it, but on the other hand I have no idea how you would beat Epic (lv. 25 boss) without using some other equally lame trick.
I think this game is good - I'm impressed that you were able to translate a lot of DotA's fun to flash. Obviously the real version is better, but this one is pretty amazing considering it runs in my web browser.
I don't know if I got lucky, or what, but no one attacked me until I had conquered all of Japan. In general, this game would be more fun if the AI of the starting prefectures was more aggressive.
