Looks promising for an alpha version and imo it is an alpha. The game needs more PvE content as in more types of enemies. PvE Areas should have objectives that will help the player like "conquer X to spawn a turret". PvP should not spawn PvE mobs or at least an option should exist. PvP needs deathmatch. The game needs a high variety of different weapons with different special attack types for each class (at least 5 per class) example for knight: whirwind, charge attack, stun attack, speed up buff attack (attack and movement speed), temporary invulnerable. Those weapons should be able to be picked up ingame for free. Shop should only have vanity items for gems (look changing items). 50k and 100k is to much for a new class. Should be 25k max. That's still about 7+ hours to grind for. I expect more classes anyways. Player should get about 5k gold when leveling up the player (not the hero). The game has a lot of potential it could be even a good competitive game if done right.
I cannot get the Medium and Hard Badge because starting at round 42, levels take way to long to finish and it takes 100% of my CPU... good thing you can lower the resolution OH WAIT, YOU CAN'T!
As it is now it's pretty boring. Zombies start to endure way to much damage that you cannot kill them with your base weapon unless you hit them for like 10 times and in the meantime 3 other zombies are attacking your barricade.
That's what I was going for -- that's why your buddy will repair your barricade. It's your job to support each other. I guess that doesn't resonate with everyone. Thanks for playing and for the honest feedback.
Oh and as an addition a home teleport spell would be good. Once you move like 3 screens away of your home it just gets annoying to always spend half the day to walk back and forth.
It's okish. The concept is good (why wouldn't it, harvest moon and rune factory are awesome games) but it is not well polished. As others have stated, items need an "equipped"-slot. If you check out rune factory, you can see there's an inventory of about 30 tiles and in addition there are slots for hands, shield, legs, head and accessory (that's in rune factory on NDS which was one of the first and simplest ones). I know of the backpack but that doesn't really help since you cannot directly interact with things in that backpack. Either remove the backpack and increase the basic slots or increase the backpack size and include items in the backpack to the crafting menu, and allow the user to eat things out of the backpack. Also there does not clock show up for me ingame. Since shops have an opening time, there needs to be a clock. 3/5
finished both difficulites on 100% now. I really like the game but it could be even better.
Features i'd like to see:
- Endless-Mode where you can also get multiple silver chests. (you can't get chests in Survival mode which is sad)
- Insane difficulty which is a lot harder (nearly impossible) to beat
- More weapon types (Homing Rockets, Spread Gun, Mine Gun)
- Special effects on weapons (Life Leech, On kill the mob explodes dealing aoe damage, On kill spawn a small minion for a short time)
- +Skill on items (cannot increase maxed skills and is available on legendary gear only) and effects like +Health Regeneration, +Mana Regeneration and +Max mana
- repeatable challenges (highest reward is obtainable only once, afterwards even if you beat wave 5 you will only get the wave 4 reward)
- more quests
- better rewarsd in treasure chests (x2 gold is pretty useless in later levels when you can instead find gear that sells for 500k+ gold)
- Higher level cap for your character (like 70?)
So first i rated this game 5/5 but then i played it a while. It's a pretty good game but it fell down to 3/5 due to way to many annoying things. 2 much pay2win and *stamina* system are the top tier bad things in this game.
Lives shouldn't count for missions that you've already beaten. I am fine if it is used for a difficulty on a mission that you have not yet beaten but since you can die from a single spell, you should still allow the player to grind previous missions.
Apparently my save file got wiped out. This is pretty bad because i spend quite a lot of hours on this game. Sadly this will lead to reduce my votes by 1 and also remove the game from my favorites.
The game has a lot of potential but here are some suggestions: 1) I sometimes die even with full health 1.7k HP and i am wearing the maxed forged items this is potentially a bug. 2) Fighting feels off because on later stages you can only win battles by using magic. Normal attacks should still deal at least some damage. 3) Space could be used as a key for the dash attack 4) The more advanced skills should have the same cooldown (unless the fighting will be changed tho) 5) The hero should attack into the direction of the mouse for better aiming of attacks and skills
...continuing.
The weapon upgrade is fine and all but it needs to be way more expensive like 3 times the current prices. Also every weapon should have a specialty on max upgrade, just like the bow shoots more arrows. Here are some ideas: >Sword: every 5th hit is a 360° attack OR charge the attack and after 3 seconds you can release the 360° attack >Mace: Short range high damage fireball >Bow: fine as it is now, maybe a little bit more damage >Blunderbuss: Shoots 2 rounds on click >Daggers: Explodes into 4 directions as smaller daggers (25% of the dagger damage) >Orb: 3 hits freeze the enemy for 3 seconds >Wand: When not firing the wand charges (3 seconds) and you can release a shot that explodes in a short range aoe on contact (explosion deals 5x damage of a normal shot) >Staff: upon contact, bounces 1 time
The game concept is flawless i mean take a look at binding of isaac, just marvelous. Problem is, that this game is waaaay to easy. All the items which modify your stuff (more weapon damage, more attack speed, more health etc.) should be one time only or bunny rewards only. To balance, the bunny always gives 1 item. Powerups should not block your path. The phoenix should attack in the direction that the player is aiming. In addition to making those powerups only one time, there are still permanent powerups (+ the pets) for example every weapon can be found and on equipping the weapon, the player will generate 1 ammo of the weapon every 5 seconds. Multiple weapons of the same type can be equipped (up to 3)
The boss level should not drop any hearts at all. After a playthrough, the next difficulty should be unlocked (up to 2 difficulties) increasing the monster health and damage by 200% (500% for highest difficulty).
to be continued...
So many popups... argh... i wish the character upgrade screens would automatically close (when doing quests) when you click outside of them. Having to click the X is not userfriendly and also why does the game not progress until i close the upgrade windows? And the wave info popup that you also have to close is annoying too and should only be optional shown.
Looks promising but imo it should be called "beta" right now :) we need the following added/changed: Quests with Crystal rewards (like hit 10 bats in a single run and stuff), falling speed should be reworked. The critter right now is *flying* and not *falling* but i don't see any wings on it. The new kickers should have a special ability like give you some head start. Maybe crystals should give you a little bounce too and crystals should be upgradable so that you get more crystals from smashing them.
That's what I was going for -- that's why your buddy will repair your barricade. It's your job to support each other. I guess that doesn't resonate with everyone. Thanks for playing and for the honest feedback.
