For those of you who want 3 gold stars on level 15, it is tough. You will need a Tecumseh for the invisible enemies. Then place a bunch of Johnny's in the best spots because they have small range. Surprisingly they are quite good once you upgrade them using critical hit. You will need two David's to slow down enemies. Towards the later levels you can start placing Chuck's and upgrade them to scare enemies. I didn't use Billy nor Thomas in my strategy.
It will take some practice but it can be done.
slowlearner46: you have to kill them in a row without delay (1/2 second?), the best way to get this is in 'swarm' mode. It also helps to have many towers/gems instead of only one powerful one.
Try physical warrior, consecrate, archer, all generalism, all speed. blessed vision.
Yeah, you will need to upgrade the mages quite a bit (I suggest fire).
I usually get around $1,600 and about 1,200 XP (depending on what awards you have). Don't bother too much in getting it to work. Like I said something in the game changed since I first tried it and it's not as easy.
bardninja, i'm 100% sure. However, I just tried it again and it didn't work :(
I think there was a bug which was recently fixed, which is why it was so easy for me before. You can still do it but you need more mages and you need to upgrade them.
Meep1000: It's the very last upgrade for a warrior, costs 100 gold. You have to get quite a lot of XP to get this far, meaning if you have two warriors they each will share the kills and each warrior won't get enough XP to get that far.
*TIP*: For gold/XP farming, go to the "Island of Woe" map and do the following:
1. Have one warrior at the front, upgraded with fire, speed, vision blessed
2. Have a mage at the back, no upgrades at all
That's it, 2 units, very easy and profitable :)
for the missile bonus level: don't just go straight one after the other, after you get one, go back to the starting point to let all the existing missiles explode. you'll notice that they only fire at you if you're within range for a certain amount of time. just be patient, there is no time limit.
Here is how to use 2 steam cannons on the last level. Set both valves to 60 PSI. You don't even have to move, you can win in 3 powerful shots.
