I played this game in 2017. Now, a year later, I had a good time replaying it. But, what will happen to all these magnificent games when Adobe Flash closes down? ...
Second comment baby! No, Ezeverlast, it's not hard to use WASD with one hand and arrow keys with the other. Or you could use your favorite hand to control both characters. Take your time, you don't have to rush things in this game. 5/5.
Of all games launched on Kongregate last year, I spent most time on this one. Sometimes I raged quit, sometimes I had an easy road to the end (depending of what books I picked up). So, in my opinion, this was the #1 Kongregate game in 2017.
When finding the right equipment during the journey, I’ve had an easy time destroying every enemy in the ice and fire lands. But it has also happened that my inventory has been next to empty (only finding a single item such as a weak shield or a ring of not much use) entering the final stages. Randomness plays a big part in this game.
Usually, it takes me nearly 2 hrs to reach floor 16, but here’s a guy who made it in 5 min.
If not using the rogue, to get hold of the Rogue Book (either finding it or buying it from the merchant) is the best way to reach the end (keen hearing+dungeon sense). But I believe most players have more fun exploring every inch of every floor …

Randomly chosen dungeons … After several failed attempts, I suddenly had a rather comfortable road to floor 16. The dungeons I faced this time were more friendly to the player, so a bit of luck makes a big difference.
It’s a very well-made game, and it deserves a 5 rating. But for us players who ain’t that skilled, it soon becomes too frustrating starting all over again and again. What’s on floor 16, we will never know …
A game for guys with plenty of patience and plenty of time. For us others, the fun soon turns into frustration (being forced to replay levels again and again can’t be the meaning of life) and we quit the game, hating it.
