The autolock on the direction is incredibly annoying, it always attempts to make the sled face forwards which makes sledding backwards / routes which arent completely straight unecessarily hard
Not a bad game. The jump mechanics are a little odd, you have full control after jumping, you can even jump when still and then start to move it also feels like the viewpoint is a little low, almost like you are crouching the whole time although that might just be me.
This has clearly been taken straight out of shootorial, not a bad effort for what I assume is a first game and its nice to see some creativity in the theming, it could do with sound though.
The graphics are decent but too many flaws. The car doesnt feel like it has any weight or grip whatsoever its like driving a paper car on a sheet of glass and the camera angles often hide the entire road from view, especially when going downhill.
If you get a perk - say redneck aim - increase shotgun pellets by 2 and then upgrade the shotgun through levelling and you get an increase to number of pellets, then your perk no longer seems to have any effect.
Game seems to be very vulnerable to cheating .. i'm not sure how but ive seen plenty of people seeming to drive on a minaturised version of tracks and getting crazily good times (good example is my track, record holder seems to repeatadly drive into walls and then finishes 20seconds faster than i can, without doing a complete lap)
current version has a new default view, much as you were speaking of.
