Avoid using Turbo (Spacebar) early game. It accelerates time, but not your resource gathering. All it will do is advance the enemy growth and cause them to attack you sooner, with greater numbers and higher tech than you can create.

Upgrade prices are a tad high for the cash you get in the late game. I was able to beat the game without ever using the recharge upgrade or unlocking all the upgrades. Clearly this was designed to be a fun game and not a challenging one, so I don't see any harm in ramping up the cash gains or lowering the upgrade prices so players can unlock everything without having to avoid the center of the Earth, just for the sake of grinding for the rest of the upgrades. Small issue, I know, but not needing upgrades to beat a game somewhat defeats the purpose of a deep upgrade tree. Perhaps a magnet feature to pull nearby treasure to you as opposed to the recharge upgrade might work better in the sequel. Good game though 4/5

Seeing as its the dev's first game, a lot can be forgiven considering that it is still far better than a lot of crap on here. That being said, I agree with many of the earlier comments. It needs guns, but also it needs more "money/xp" I like to have all my upgrades out of the way before the last few stages or nearly all at the very least. I found myself having to grind levels over and over to get enough xp for the next upgrade, this being long after I upgraded "learning" and "barricade" to max. I could only imagine how much more grinding would be needed if there were more items to unlock or level up. Good relaxing game the cartoonish zeds were a nice touch. 4/5

A few things I would like to see is if money is going to be picked up eventually anyway, why not just make it go straight into your funds the moment you kill an enemy. Also, there is hardly time to build traps during a wave and the final wave ends the round anyway so there is no real need for money at that stage. I would like to see either money carried over to the next round or your remaining cash is converted to xp. A sort of reward for not relying as much on traps. Lastly, if money is automatically picked up, then why do I still have to move my cursor all the way off the battlefield to click the "level up" button? It always happens when there are a lot of enemies on the screen and its kind of counter-productive. Are you worried someone will be upset by you leveling them without their permission or is there some benefit to NOT leveling as soon as possible, I am not aware of?

2 catapult, 2 ballista, 2 wing, 1 rocket, 2 bladder, 3 magnet and 3 luck upgrades later and I still can't reach my previous record set before all the upgrades. All my "boosters" are used up before I make it past the first milestone. I do not see any benefit to the wings or rockets as neither really improve your performance and upgrading them has not yielded any noticeable gains. Money is so tight in this game that the best way I've found to make money is to invest in the luck upgrade, get a perfect launch and hope to end my run quickly. Although this game is dated, its still a miserable recycling of a launch game when there are much older ones out there that are much more balanced. The goblin voice is so off the mark to the point its annoying to even listen to it. Very poor game. 2/5

Map scroll should use wasd or arrow keys instead of mouse. Trying to manage units and spells close to the borders often results in unwanted map scroll.

Round should automatically end if all the ore has been retrieved. I've wasted so much time running around looking for that last piece of ore only to discover that its some rock in a group of trees. Also, there should be a magnet upgrade to pull ore from behind obstacles, a direction finder upgrade to help you locate the ore that always seems to fly across 3 plots or there should be much less spread on the debris, an upgradable surveyor so I'm not finding crap deposits later in the game.

Epic sequel however it would be nice if there were a "back to main menu" option on here so I can switch from story to survival and vice versa. Some of the missions require you to be in one or the other and it is a pain to refresh to accomplish that. Excellent improvement on an already near flawless launcher. Keep it up and you will have millions of glossy eyed fans drooling over their keyboards for hours of mind rotting fun!

Target hit boxes need to be of equal size of the target. I end up wasting a lot of juice trying to stay dead center on a small hit box of a large object like the apache when hitting it anywhere should be sufficient. Otherwise, not a bad game.

Awesome game. High replay value and simple mechanics, yet incredibly difficult at times. Only changes I would like to see is less randomness in reinforcement placement. Seems like the enemies tend to get their troops added to the front lines while mine tend to be placed further back, nullifying their usefulness. Would also like to see a lot less Air Raids or allow the player to get more of them. Right now it would seem the enemy be it 1 or 7 get Air Raids about twice as much as I do. I can win despite that, but I have to restart a lot of games because while the enemy is getting Artillery Barrage or Air Strikes everyturn, I am getting Retreat and Panzer cards, while not bad, are useless if the enemy is not putting up and Fortifications. Some more control or balance in troop placement and card distribution and this game would be flawless. Despite those issues though, the replay value alone makes this game a 5/5 in my book. Good job

@jonathan_boyd008 you can't let the aliens take control of the shipyard. You have to wait until earth is colonized and the first laser turret and then spam the first laser that the aliens are going for. When the enemy forces are gone, send most of your remaining ships to the shipyard and whatever ships are at earth to the final turret. keep bouncing your ships around to maintain control of the turrets and then launch a massive offensive from the shipyard against the closest mothership AS SOON AS you see it launch a wave of its own. Then you will quickly wipe it out and the remaining 2 will be elementary.

meh, its an alright game. you get to a certain point and you stop getting dinos and upgrades, but the stages get harder. Then once you start losing dino's, its game over. would like to see something resembling a storyline and would like to choose which dinos I put out there and upgrades I buy. Defense games have been around too long for such things to be overlooked that I have to assume that it was out of laziness that you did not put forth the effort. The game would not be too bad, but even with the aforementioned improvements, this game still falls short of being memorable. 2/5

no real purpose to the game other than sit for fifteen or twenty minutes and improve your eye hand coordination. Game needs somekind of storyline and/or chapters, perhaps each one involving a different map. Seriously, the premise of this game is I am defending a parking lot. The game wouldn't be so bad if I were actually trying to get somewhere. The best weapon is the minigun, but who the hell ever heard of a minigun in a game that has to be reloaded? The purpose of unlocking such a divine weapon is so you can mow your opponents down. This game is far too unbalanced, so much so, that I am left wondering if the creators actually play tested it. 2/5

@dekleinewolf. I agree, if I a player declines a tutorial twice, its probably because they don't want a tutorial. Its almost like a slap in the face to be forced fed instructions on how to play a game whose gameplay is exactly the same in every single version. Come on guys, its bad enough our gaming experience is cut short because its a demo, but to annoy your players with carbon copy demo's and expect us to NOT know how to play this highly reoccuring concept is insulting. It is a fun and relaxing game, which makes playing it worthwhile, but your kidding yourselves if you think its worth spending money to buy. The forced tutorial and limited playtime take an excellent game from 5/5 to 3/5 stars.

Really good concept and a lot of fun, but I too share some of the same concerns as others. level cap? Ok, I can accept a level cap if there is an end game. You need to be able to win the game. If its not a turret, it should auto deploy the current ship you have selected and launch them from the reactor, that is your ship after all. Loose the god gun on the enemy ships. Getting shot nearly off screen is too much. Add more structures like guided missle batteries or drone repair bays. Perhaps enlarging the map and allowing for player movement using WASD or Arrows so we can flee incoming danger enough to buy a little breathing room so our ships can do their jobs. 4/5
