The skill and map system really puts me in the direction of Gemcraft Chapter 0. While the actual playing points me to micro wars (??) or nano bots or something like that. Nice combination of both, though. Haven't seen that in a while. 3/5
and @ cronos988: No, the creeper does not get any new tricks, but it will get significantly harder than in this version. Remember that this is just a tutorial, actually.
Anybody who likes this game, should get the full game. Illegal or legal, the game is awesome. And to all those sign here if...badges.. comments: This game is not getting badges. It will not implement Kong API. This game is only a commercial demo for the full game.
And pretty obviously the egg comes first. Explanation: First, you have lots of pre-chickens, and because of DNA mutations, a few of their eggs (!) will bear a chicken. So the egg came first.
There really should be a way of muting the music. Not that it's annoying, but since it's an idle game, it's used while actually doing something else... So this might be an idea. Did you know? Music playing in the background can be experienced annoying.
