After I beat the game, I played the piano and I think I broke the triggers. Other than that, a lovely little game with beautiful scenery, good job at making it so immersive despite its simplicity. The point was a bit too deep for me, but I get lost easily. Still, five stars for combining a good narrative with simple gameplay, resulting in a game of higher quality than most on this site.
Most importantly, uploaded games (including all components of games, such as audio) must be your original work or work you have permission to upload from the owner. Kongregate has absolutely no tolerance for uploading stolen content. Violators of this policy will automatically receive a one-week ban without warning on the first offense, and a permanent ban on the second.
Read the rules much?
A couple technical issues: No mute button, but on top of that the music plays again while its still going after you lose. The hitboxes for the target are square, meaning you can shoot the space around it and still hit. The movement of the crosshair is nice, but the shots land where the invisible cursor actually is. Sound effects would help too.
You clearly know the technical side of making games but I think the gameplay side could use some work. Instead of forcing these different modes on the player, I suggest you make them powerups in the game that add to your points. This way you could also stack multiple modes for more points, etc.
Crap the arcade is difficult at this boosted FPS. Looks good though. Also, if you have an equipment set saved with an item that you've sold, you can stlll equip it.
Selling items is awesome, I just made 30 mil off of mystery pants. I've got mixed feelings about the updates, but I know Tukkun's got improvement in mind, so I'm not too worried.
This felt much more like an interactive story than a game, and even then I felt like the writing could have been improved upon. Also, way to triple post, PhoenixW.
I feel like if I were to try and draw the learning curve of this game, it would be a strange, squiggly line. The assault rifle seems overpowered, and the variety of monsters seems a bit small. It's an interesting concept though.
Good taste in music, it surprised me to hear Death Cab and Spoon. Alternate game modes would definitely be a plus, but it's quite innovative as it is. Also, kittens.
