Drag and drop really killed what would have been a good game. Would have done 4 or 5, if it was point and click, but 2/5 for the annoying drag and drop.
Too easy. Just place the $100 tower everywhere along the path 1 and 2 squares out. Then fill in the 3 square out positions and upgrade those once to give range. Proceed to upgrade the rest of the towers one by one whenever you get the cash. No leaks on hard doing this, kind of makes strategy pointless if spamming the weakest tower gives a perfect game on hard. 2/5
Kind of too slow for a game with all of the explanations for it to stand on its own. 3/5 if just rating it as a game. However, as an educational tool I only wish I had such an engaging method of learning in my time. 5/5, very well done!
Mage was the easiest, dump all points into int, then 5 skill into total magic, and rest into electrical. The level 2 shock only has a 50 magic cost. Just buy whatever the best armor is, along with shield. Weapon doesn't matter. 1 shot obliterator immediately after 1 shotting the previous boss.
Not a bad game, but not worth the $15 for full version. I picked up Bioshock for $5, and Civ4 for $10. Be a little more realistic with your fee, like maybe 10-20 kreds.
Yeah, to add on to the too easy thing - redid last city again to see if I could farm cash. No luck, 1 single click destroyed the North Pole.
End stats: 14 lifespan, 18 speed, 25 dmg resistance, 20 attack, 22 infection - all the bottom skills max, all heroes at lvl 3
very addicting, but -1 star because it got waaaay to easy after a certain point. Once I got to a certain point with my abilities, EVERY town was destroyed first shot. Probably 2/3 to 1/2 of the total cities were like that. 158 days here first attempt.
Level 4 is by far the hardest, worry about only one unlock at a time. To maximize multiplier, drop rocks and trucks on everything. To get the burning unlock for the last level, stay near the burning tires and just sweep back and forth. Get the rocks out of the way first. The boss isn't so bad, just be at the top of the screen and keep the keep going towards the boss. You'll scoop up the bombs and you can run them right into the boss. On the last level pick up the agents when the boss is off screen. Those are the REAL threat.
Eh, a bit too easy, finished it in 34 days and I'm not going to try to improve on that. For an easy win, don't start in middle. I like the area that gets to go 2nd. Put up covering fire first, and attack one of the forest countries with your 3 guys. You'll win, and place guys to defend your old land. Upgrade your soldiers full, and then your tactics. Green giants after that. Use knights until you get samurai, I never bothered with ranged. Just stack up samurai and steamroll. The last islands you may want covering fire again. It will probably take 2-3 attacks in 1 turn to kill the boss. You have to clear the little guys first.
Just use machine guns, boost mercenary first and use as little as possible to win. cash = skill points. Currently trying stage 7 with only 3 machine guns. Beat it already using just 4 with no upgrades.
Moves too slow, no wave counter, too much randomness in what enemies throw at you, especially early on. Author focused too much on complexity instead of making the game engaging to play. 2/5
