Ok, I usually don't care about idle games, since, well, what's the point? The level of interaction involved here though is just right, and has me checking up on it regularly. Well done.
Dammit, this game is too easy now, there are only so many self imposed challenges you can make while still keeping the game winnable. 4 minutes on today's challenge, 6 minutes with no blasters. And I know I could bring those times lower if I played the map over again. This has easily been my favorite game on Kong, but.... I don't think it has anything left for me :(
Also, a well placed blaster with range upgrade can cap more than one well. Very handy for self imposed challenges. There is some limitation based on terrain, but for example, you can cap all 5 wells on 3/15 with 4 blasters.
Some tips: Don't overbuild, if you build ahead, snake it so you only have 1 link active. Add links as your energy increases. Go back after and add links to streamline packet delivery. Use relays to create packet highways in conjunction with speed boosts. Adding relays after gives redundancy in case a SAM doesn't catch and aerial creep. Focus on only reactors/collectors until absolutely necessary. Wait on SAMs until 2 minutes left on warning, 3 minutes if you've had to build turrets. Give mortars DEEP targets. Positioned well, 2 mortars can completely hold back the creep. Destroy in detail - with 6 blasters, it's easier to cap the wells with 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2 blasters successively than it is to try to push back all 5 with 6 blasters at once. The longer the delay on the SAM warning, the more creeper bombs there will be. If it's over 7 minutes, you're going to need a lot of SAMs.
2/5 Really, a Progress Quest clone? I will give one extra star for having the animations, but you copied a gamed that was a sardonic parody of other games. Heck "Looking for things to kill" is straight from PQ even. It would be nice to see it called it PQ Flash or something that recognized the original.
After noticing 5 of my elevator shafts sitting unused, it looks like people won't use an elevator over 12 blocks away from a useful room. So while they love them some elevators, be sure you aren't letting space go to waste in this fashion.
49 story hotel. 25 block column width. 15 block width of high capacity elevators going all the way to the top. (60% for those playing at home) Guess what my guests are demanding more of. Go on, guess.
Playing a warrior, clear floors 1 & 2, maxed XP for those floors and I move on to 3. I get 1 hit from full HP from a monster on the floor I'm SUPPOSED to be on. Had good drop distribution, but wth? Game has promise, but promise is not the same as delivery.
Overgrind is a little bit pointless when you get it. You have all the upgrades so you are way overpowered and you don't need to focus on cash. Sooo, you just waltz through the level and get the items and leave. Avoid most of the enemies + mind hack - power glove/gauss and there really is no challenge to it.
I'm not sure this should be Rebuild 2, more like Rebuild 1.5 I love the skillup system, dislike the item micro since skills max at 10 regardless. A solid followup to the first one though!
Gold star the first map: drop 5 in S. Europe then attack Middle east. You should have 3 in Middle East, drop 2 more there next turn, and then drop 3 in Scandinavia to attack Ukraine with 4, and attack India with 5 from the Middle East. Drop all your armies in India, and then hit Siam. Drop all armies in Siam and hit Indonesia. Drop all your armies in Indonesia and split up to attack New Guinea and W. Australia in the same turn. Drop armies evenly in New Guinea and W. Australia and then take out E. Australia for the 6 turn win. Might need luck on your side to take Ukraine, but it worked for me first try.
It's.... sudoku. Missed opportunity here to do something different. How about multiplayer? 2 or more people get the same sudoku and are in timed competition. Make the different versions unlockable to add incentive to play. Have attacks in multiplayer like the opponent can't place a tile in a given quadrant, has all numbers but one locked out for a few seconds, etc. Competitive sudoku could be a HUGE thing, but no.... had to do the same old sudoku. 2/5 since this is just the same old stuff.
