Peaceful, simple and elegant. Perfect music for it. Haven't the time to finish it now, but the difficulty progression seems to be very appropriate thus far. (Not finding that a higher level is easier than an earlier one. I'll have to come back when I have enough time to finish.
Great job!
WARNING! Do not start this game unless you want to keep coming back to it day in and day out to check on it! I never thought I could get addicted to this sort of game (dare I say Far*ville?) however, here I am.
Definitely would like to have it stop asking me about bragging to my friends. After the first 30 or 80 times, it should get the hint. PLEASE!!!
I would like to see the yard planner provide grids for placement and the options for some pre-set layouts. These would be effective upgrades to the so-so usefulness of the Yard Planner.
Other than that, great game. As I said, WAY too addictive!! Five Stars!!
Stopped at level 16. Even looked at the walkthrough and it told me to do the same thing I was doing... except it didn't work for me. If I press and hold a key, the words just hop up onto the letter I'm typing. I suspect that it might work if I change my key auto-type rate, but I'm not going to change settings for a little game like this, and I shouldn't have to.
Other than that, fun idea. I'd look forward to more levels... if I could get past 16. ;-)
Yeah, it's a good start or part... but it needs something to encourage someone to try more than twice. Even starting over from where you "died" is fine... but to start over from the beginning... doesn't work for me. The other thing you might consider is showing the score progress... and using bigger numbers. It's a psych thing.
Not running well at ALL on my pc (P4 1-Gig of RAM IE7) The screen scans away from the trebuchet before I have time for the trebuchet is even close to it's apex so my second click appears to do nothing. I've tried muting sound and running low quality graphics to no avail.
Not working well for me at all!
I cannot think of anything that would make me sit through another 75 levels of this! ... okay I can think of a few things, actually, but none of them are a card on Kongregate.
It's a cute rehash of a proven concept, but the most challenging thing about the game play is staying awake through the waves.
the enemy hides under the icons at the side of the playing field, you can't determine whether an enemy is dead or just lying there, you can't target so your soldiers simply wander around targeting WHOEVER... bad bad bad bad bad... I have no idea why Kongregate picked this one for a card.
I like the concept (logo) and will enjoy seeing my kid try it, but the solutions can lead to bad programming practices, because I COULD rewrite the function, but I just put a little tweak in at the end knowing what it would do... educator/programmer quibbling, I suppose. I think a few more options in the 'programming' might clear that up... someone said "if"...
Other than that, good graphics and interface. Music seems to suit the game.
Pausing MAY have caused a glitch in that my weapons ceased to show their flight path (pac man gun and laser were invisible) after resuming from pause. It happened to be on the "last' level (the one right before the 'Congratulations') Other than that, lots of simple fun.
Absolutely Great! I'm constantly amazed that the oldest video game ever still has a new twist to keep it alive. Yet another great Pong-variant!
Beautiful!
The concept seems okay but if you type you get the card. If you can't type, you're gonna have to REALLY struggle! Graphics work pretty good from my point of view.
needs a pause.. needs a menu... and it DOESN'T need the word "kikes" I've flagged it as "inappropriate" for that word alone and would appreciate knowing the reason why it is there if it is not meant as a derogatory slang towards Jews.
lots of other little whines with the game and it loses my interest pretty quickly
