To enjoy this game you need to enjoy grinding. Regular failures and regular restarts are essential. If that's not your thing, then play on easy mode or play another game.
Great beginning! A few thoughts:
The background (i.e. the ground), while minimalist was also a boring gray.
I beat the game without ever meeting to use a charge. Should that be possible? Maybe because I stumbled into the solution for the 2 panel part of the room in the north.
I can see one of the puzzles get tedious because of how long it takes to move around the environment. But all of these puzzles were short enough that it didn't matter.
It should be longer!
Awesome! But one part bugged me during the dimensional debate [SPOILERS]. I first picked the answer "Themselves" because it seems like Dregg isn't human. But the right answer is "Ourselves". Was this meant to show that Dregg is part human or was it just confusing answers?
Great game! But it can be so slow sometimes. I wish I could walk faster or somehow see all the selectable items (like hit tab to view all the little boxes at once). Either way, 5/5.
Having to click on the mosquito to kill it wasn't obvious. There hasn't been any other baddies you need to click on. I needed the walkthrough to pass that level.
To echo EviL GaMer's response, I hope the next one has more challenge in the investigating and understanding clues part. I found this one easier than the previous two games. Regardless, it's still a great series.
Fantastic game. 5/5. Only issue I had is that I didn't know how to open the prison and didn't until right at the end. While the music was reaching a crescendo waiting for the gems, I had to look up a walkthrough and figure out how to do it. Kind of killed the excitement.
Sorry Dev, I liked your previous games but not this one. The country music is annoying, but the real killer is the water multiplier. It doesn't fit. Some levels could in theory be solved very simply but introducing the water multiplier (especially when there are multiple multipliers) makes me have to guess how much water I need to create and where to send it.
Thanks, I will look into the difficulty next time.
