So, this is how the worst kind of P2W games gets badged... with a headstart of 1k very good marks to ensure an alluring rating of 4.0 despite much of the comments already telling the game is a cut'n'paste of the scores of greedy P2W self-playing energy-system games that mar kongregate like smallpox these days. I guess we'll get badges soon, despite the several crashes that flat-out prevent playing (err, using the game would be more accurate as the verb to play involves some kind of fun) for more than a few minutes.
This is an excellent game, good gameplay -- if a little old fashioned-- good story especially if you played through the entire series to endear yourself to the characters, and a lot to do and think during the game. I can't understand why it's so underrated compared to other genre (idle, ccg...) because this game is a gem. Way to go Mezzanine Stairs, and hurry up, we're waiting for chapter 4.
"Study. I made plans. You can call the knowledge of heroes. Award yourself with them." (actually said by a game character, probably meaning something else, or something AT ALL in the original language). When game devs don't speak a language, they shouldn't try to provide translation in said language. But I wasn't disappointed, as I had absolutely no expectation. P2W POS all the way... yet another strategy game botched.
This is a nice variation of factory ball, easier (so better suited for the children who would like the halloween theme). It's rejuvenating a series I thought was beginning to feel repetitive. Good work.
Very good game, just a tad below Mine of Sight because the free mistakes (that in effect gives a free tile) make the game a tad too easy. An option for "instant lose" in the beginning of the game would get the fifth star in my opinion.
I probably won't have the stamina to play this game long enough to get 51 stars. That's more than 100 battles spread over days... With pay2win at its finest (really, there is no point in playing with the starting deck (cards with 2/5) when you get 22/85 cards with money. I now you can probably play for years to upgrade your cards to this level, but what's the point? It's not even like you could actually play the game long enough if you enjoyed it since the stupid energy system prevents you to play a battle more than once every 20-50 minutes... 1-starred and shame on kongregate for badging that pos.
The ending was the icing on the cake of a fun little game. I miscliked and gave an item to the spa cashier just after giving her the chocolate muffin... I fear I missed a part of the dialogue as a result... what was she needing it for? Great game!
Excellent game. Long enough, with the right mix of logic and weirdness (the lever is obvious so it's not a problem and the result is fun). I really like your style. We need more!
Fun little game. The puzzles were intuitive and logical -- didn't recognize the sphere but it looked like a bowling bowl so its use was intuitive to me -- but the game is too short compared to your other production. It's very nice though. Small nitpick: in the French translation, "watch home alone" is rendered as "Regarder seul la télé" while it should certainly be "Regarder Maman j'ai raté l'avion"
Extremely bad wording... please take time to translate carefully if English isn't your native language. It's grating. Almost as annoying as the energy system (for a story driven game, what's the point, really). I could have tried to go forward in the game to see what will happen but... "You still need to have 0/1 Energy". I guess I won't see the end of the story.
Err, what's the point in offering several language if you can't get them wrong? Tried the French version and the first screen says "bomb broadcaster 1 is the story of the new chest detective game developped by the game studio "ENA". 4 scientists have been killed and we missed. We found the fifth button to deactivate the bomb in a secret place. Now we must broadcast the bomb to save people in the secret gold mine." Err... I almost stopped playing...
5/5 like everyone of your games. I learnt a few things along the way, the moving fire traps were not that bad, and the humour was there (and I loved the moral of the story)... I am kind of worried that I remembered the hair colour on the first try...
First, it tells me that I must play this game on IE 11 only. Too bad if I happen to like other browsers. Then, it takes a long time to load with the mandatory browser. Finally, after clicking on "play" it blocks on a black screen. 1/5.
Very nice game, like all the previous parts/installments. We need more of them. And more A Matter of Caos as well. And more of the one with the vampire mobster. We definitely need more VasantJ...
