This is a pretty "meh" game, with some wonky math and score tracking. Needs some improvements, not the least of which should be a stats screen for your towers, to know exactly what they're capable of.
This was good, but honestly... it should have been better. Item descriptions for the items you already would have improved the playability tremendously. 3/5, and I am looking forward to a sequel.
Couple of additional things:
I completed the Horse Stables (100 skill), though after a while it started reading as 100.2. At the end of the game, I did not receive the achievement for it, much to my chagrin.
Additionally, I don't think it's physically possible to master out the Dragon Tamer. The job just seems to generate too much Stress. Now maybe there's some stress reduction mechanic I'm missing (other than resting of course), but the highest I was ever able to achieve was about 75.
Just a few things that should have been tested out.
Interesting game. A very different take on the Protector series.
The one music track in the game is nice, but it's also rather repetitive, I would have liked there to have been a few other tracks, maybe for dungeons and whatnot.
Overall a good game, but it could use some polish.
This game has a very Storm the House feel, but at the same time, its use of lawncare was actually rather unique. A fun feel to the game.
What's more... I honestly don't know why I enjoyed it as much as I did. I have to say 5/5. Excellent job!
Graphically one of the most impressive flash games I've ever seen. If not THE most impressive. Fun game, interesting story (and backstory), and I am very much looking forward to a future installment.
Well done!
This is definitively the most ambitious project zeebarf has put out there, and again, I am impressed. A lot of fun, and fun to figure out. Great stuff!
I originally rated this game a 5, but after consideration, I've had to downgrade it to a 4. While still an excellent game, I've found that things are simply too expensive, and the rewards simply aren't great enough to justify the grind. Either scale back the grind factor or give us alternate ways of making gold and/or exp, and please... a respec button.
This game desperately needs variable options. Graphics and volume controls especially. What's more, the machine gun turrets are overpowered to an unbelievable degree. Set up a bottleneck or strong point, and there's no incentive to use anything else (save a sniper tower or two for cleanup).
