uh...Real talk? Thanks for getting this a badge. I'd played through this once before and completely forgotten about it, and the badge gave me an excuse to experience it again.
Preplay thoughts: Sweet christ give me an option to skip to the important part of the intro screen if I want to, waiting for the press enter trigger every time I turn on this game will be UNBEARABLE. :o
I've left maybe 4 or 5 comments ever through my time here on Kongregate, but by god this game is wonderful. The puzzles are very well designed, simple yet challenging, the functionality is fine tuned, the music is well selected, and solving a puzzle is legitimately satisfying. This is one of the best puzzle games I've played in a WHILE.
So why the HELL has it been on here for almost TWO YEARS without badges, where I may not have ever found it? FIX IT FIX IT FIX IT!
A note on the Spyluis paradox; The time sphere's only stop time, they do not physically stop movement, so from a physics perspective the bullet is still moving, but over a time of zero seconds. That is, the bullet maintains the same velocity and carries the same force as it had when it first entered the time sphere, and should someone come into contact with said bullet head on, the force would be transferred over to them over a time of zero seconds causing a VERY rapid acceleration. While I'm as sure as you are the death is an oversight on the programmer's part, the physics are theoretically valid. :D
To those of you apparently wondering why, when you mix snake, or lizard, or some other small animal with fire, you get ash... Think even just a little bit harder.
Or go find a lizard and light it on fire, see what you get back. :P
...You, yes you, reading this right now, have to go into story, set the difficulty to 15, and try to complete the tutorial. You'll cry when you actually have to get KOs. XD
Lol, got 40 with Dante on the 3 hit mode on my second try, hit Retry instead of submit by mistake, and now can't pull it off again. CURSE YOU JOSHUAAAAA!!!
Ladies and gentlemen, a tip on Bourgeoisie: There is a "reset upgrades" button on the upgrades menu. It gives you back all your points. Use it, and dont buy the upgrades which increase the pickup range or stray spawn rate. You should be able to get 16 swans on your first or second try after that. :D
...For the record, there IS a genuine issue with the flipper on the first game randomly tipping to one side at the start. I don't understand why, and it only seems to happen here on Kong, not on Newgrounds, but...You need to fix it. Genuinely Irritating.
Otherwise, Great game. XD
...WOO ALL TIME HIGH SCORE XD
I generally heart the graphics, though the bosses are a little...unintimidating. Try and make them more evil-ish :D
Also, it's really slow paced. From a programming standpoint, I'd increase the value of a couple of movement variables >:D
This was a really good use of the shootorials. You took all the lessons and actually LEARNED something, as opposed to just reskinning Shoot and copying all of the coding in the shootorials. Nice work :D
How odd...On my second playthrough of level 14 (was showing a friend how to do it) the wire triggering the iron ball that fails you can power itself for an infinite tim period off of 3 puffs of steam, making the level impossible. Might be a good idea to look into that glitch :D
@ CR0v: You're confusing the Windmill with the Fan. Those little things in lvl 14 are fans, and those big ones that use wind to make power are the windmills. :D
This...COULD be good, if not for the fact that there is absolutely no indication of where you may or may not be able to click. That might not have been a problem had the clicking areas not been as small, and the possibility that a click you found will make you lose. Basically it evolves down into a blind search which still doesn't guarantee you a win. Simply too many flaws to warrant more than a 1/5 imho.
If you want to skip the title screen, press enter. I will update the game to make that more clear.
